trans am - SSD - 4014 points AS SSD Benchmark
WOW awesome score Trans Am! well deserved! The very low write speeds on the AS SSD tell the story here for those that aren't aware. When using FastPath the write scores are always low, specifically high QD random, and the read scores are much higher. Typically when using Fancycache the write scores will be absolutely ridiculous. So these low write scores, which are typical of fastpath, indicate to the trained eye that this is a legit score. Probably peak speeds coming off a fresh secure erase and after array initialization. But of course, we are benching right? Awesome score TA, dude keep up the great work Also, as a final bit of disproving the whole fancycache bullshit, look at the read and write latency of the submission, if he were using that solution these would be at RAM LATENCY....AKA .0007 or in that range. get the google machine going and google AS SSD and Fancycache and you will see the typical latency that is the "tell" for those using caching programs. this is legit, quit reporting it unless you have proof otherwise, all we have now is an abundance of proof that it is legit. Any true guru would know just by looking that TA just owned this bench and made it his bitch, simple as that! I think the haters need to watch my boy TA bust it out

The REV4 public test server! (feedback welcome)
Thanks for finally including PCMV that is huge for us storage nerds. will definitely fan the fire again in that benchmark. In regards to PCMark7, will that get points as well?

yeah i wish i had ten SSD...actually did this one with five of them, three were lost in an unfortunate accident. Alot of it also does involve some patience and skill of course. SteveRo's work with the acards is phenomenal, and his knowledge and skill are complete for this bench (he does hold the overall WR). Also, Trans Am has made a very good effort, with his ssd's and the 9260, and did very well on two difficult segments, the one core and three core. Undeniably the two hardest segments to win in this competition, and he did an excellent job, his LN2 skills are truly ninja! I have seen guys with better hardware do worse than these guys, thats for sure. My hat is off to both of my teammates, not only are they great competitors, but very good friends as well. Also, all the teams who competed did excellent, this bench is LONG as we all know, and requires alot of time and patience, so my hat is off to all of the guys who competed, there were some surprisingly good results along the way, and this was the most fun ive had in a while! (god im a nerd) thanks HWBot for giving us a monthly competition for this bench!

WOW that is the result of some extreme determination there! i know you fought that raid card, the ram, and the chip on that one all the way! not to mention the bug that caused the hangs, but your patience persevered! great job And might i add, you look fantastic in that uniform, i wasnt aware you could smoke on the ship!
