  1. Thanks bro... I missed lots of things
  2. I noticed there were posted a 2 x Xeon in the competition (Cinebench). So... since I have no Titan (mainly 4 x Titan thats about USD 2000 each in Brazil)... and I also don't have dual CPUs systems, looks for one more time there are something wrong. I recommended (with more guys), to only be allowed some new PC part, at least about 2 months after to be launched... and it was not agreed by Hwbot (ok... Titan will be available before the end... but the rule, I believe must be changed, is wrong)... Since I will have no USD 8000 to play 4 cards (I never had 4 x HD 7970... 2 always was borrowed from friends)... I believe Pro League is confirmed ONLY to who have full sponsorship. And plus... I and 99% of the guys, never can binned (and hardmod) a Titan... maybe to have lucky to get one good or gold sample. My point of view is that I can not help my team members... and will ask one more time to change me Pro League to League. Also... I will not buy AMD to compete Memory Clock because I think is spend money with something there is not a benchmark... and did not need any performance. P.S. > Hwbot informed that one of the reasons that removed the League... is because always the same (same pro overclockers in the top)... And now? Since Andre and OC Lab not joined... I can finally declare the winner... KPC will be the winner easy. They had full monster Xeons to Cinebench... full sets of monster Titans... and so far, can be declared as winner. Nick and Hicookie, very good overclockers, were not active last time... Team AU did not join the Pro Cup... Different level of sponsorship and conditions WILL BE EVER... so... maybe is a reason because the guys go from the top ranking (or no?) Maybe is the reason, that the only Pro OC I noticed that agreed was Splave... they will be the winners.... and Splave, very good overclocker, with Kingpin by his side and Christian (declared memory overclocker) is so far the favorites. This is not a problem... because they are really good (KPC Team)... and earn to be winners...... But the reason that Hwbot gave... to remove the League... that is "because i always the same in the top", will remain.... it will not change. Then... Hwbot open a thread: "HWBOT Rev5 Development: Voice Your Opinion On How Tied Results Receive Points..." (This is democratic...thumbs up) Why Hwbot did not voice your opinion, before to remove the Pro League?.... why, if Hwbot decided by themselves to remove and make the Pro Cup... did not voice the Pro Guys with less conditions? Why, if this $#%@& will happen, did not limit to 1 x CPU or 1 x VGA.... if 90% of the Pro League guys have no full sponsorship? Disappointed Tks
  3. This post is only to announce by myself that MSI accepted my score to 3DMark Fire Strike Challenge, and confirmed I was the winner. The score is about my last Hwbot competition I joined, that ended at 03/03/2013 They sent me this e-mail 3 days ago, and there are no official announcement by Hwbot, so, looks for it was not too important. However, they will send my price... and MSI are doing OK. Thanks to MSI ro promote one more nice event like this. Valid Score Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  4. Thanks Vince... this words from a guy like you, are still more value to me. I never intend to leave... instead I joined Pro Cup. Looks for not good thing almost all Pro Overclockers disagreed the Pro Cup. I really don't know how it works...but I know will be hard to me. Let it be
  5. Unfortunately, not one sizes fits all. Here where I live... if sometimes I want to do an event... or even look for some help... a "curriculum" is needed. Now... the Pro Overclockers are no more ranked. Maybe in countries like USA and Taiwan, thats a hardware paradise, is not too important... but you can be sure that in South America is... To give you an example... I only was looked by Corsair in Brazil...because I was the best ranked... I only made events with Gigabyte, Campus Party and so on... because I was good ranked. I know is a particular case... and Hwbot can not be worry about it... but like me.. there are more overclockers with same feeling... with same or different reasons to disagree to remove the Pro league. I believe every single Pro Overclocker liked the idea of Pro Cup, but it don't mean to remove complete the Pro League.
  6. Then... we have: 3DMark Fire Strike Single GPU 3DMark 11 Performance Full Out Super PI 32M Memory Clock Cinebench R11.5 We will not see any pro... sending Unigine Heaven 1, 2, 3, 4 cards... 3DM03, 3DM01, 3DM06, 3dM05, 3DM11 1, 2, 3 cards, ... also the most of 2D benchs made pro Pro league guys. I still like to see sicky scores and best benchers broken records to encourage people to do the same and even better... @Vince... I though every Pro Overclocker agreed the cup... but the problem is to remove the Pro league. You are and always will be Kingpin... and don't need to show nothing more for nobody... you just worked hard... and now... you have good conditions and privileges you earned. But not all Pro Overclockers are in good situation... that's the problem. I know about me... and all effort I made before...and now... I really feel harmed. I fought hard, I know how much work and effort I made to get # 3 on the pro league, without expensive LN2 support and 2 videocards borrowed. I have never be same conditions by the "Pro League Guys", but regardless all... I worked without complaining, and followed the rules, and now, I losed all. Lots of times I asked to earn points only once time per benchmark (or 1, or 2, or 4 videocards... but only better score per benchmark)... to not earn points to obscure hardwares... and more stuff to turn more easy to who has less conditions... but regardless all... I kept working. Many overclockers are in the same situation as me, "or even worse". This is not what really pleases me.. "just my 2 cents... as some overclockers said before" sorry the bad english
  7. In 2005 ..... I was inspired by masters of overclocking to grow and look for skill (today... the name of this guys was Pro league). Today, I see many friends who are enthusiasts or even extremes, which are inspired on Pro overclockers to achieve your goal....so maybe you can consider that pro guys is the inspiration to newcomers. Remove the Pro League, is devaluing all the work done by them (I'm included). I, like other professional overclockers in Pro league, just follow the rules of HWBOT. Spent a lot of time and money ... devote much effort to now being in the league of Limbo. Excuse me for sincerity, but the level of overclocking dropped down drastically in the league. After the announcement that Hwbpt would remove the Pro league, I never spent a dime or time to send results. The only result that I was sent was to the 3DMark Fire Strike, which does not earn points, but belong to a nice competition. Compare yourself, the scores and records before the announcement....where they were always beaten and always posted great scores..., and the results now. The fights we had with switching positions before .... no longer exist. This was worth nothing. I really don't want to be forced to bench X, Y, or Z.... or to use hardware XXX or YYY... I want to try to climb in the ranking... with the weapons I have... and according what I want. Massman... I know it can be hard for you, to recognize you must be wrong... but man... you are. There are important guys talking.... not only limbo guys like MAD, Dinos, Fester, Andre and me... but people like derb8auer and Knoplerbruce that you know... work for best league and best community. I think hwbot still have time to change the new Rev,5 Tks
  8. So.... looks like hwbot will keep this way to about 1 year. That's a pity...
  9. But this was not shared and asked.... this is only the final decisions. In this thread... Hwbot told.... "We will do it".... but not... "What do you, pro league guys, think about it". To tell "public" We will do... is not the same that "Hey Overclockers, what do you think about we ... ... ... " I hope you understand.
  10. @ Massman " Whether you believe that or not is up to you. The Pro OC Cup has been "in development" since January 2011 and has been discussed with a lot of people, including Team.AU members amongst many others, over the course of two years." So... do you believe is the correct way, you discuss to remove the league, but do not share information with people of the league? Nobody asked me nothing (I think I would be part), and nobody asked nothing for my friends that I know in Pro League (Slamms, Smoke, Fester, Mad, Andre, Nick, Hazzan, Nacho, Dinos, etc, etc). But ok... So... the question is... what about the "Limbo League"?.... if the Pro OC do not join... will go to the Limbo? One more thing... What do you think about XOC???.... If the guy in XOC League... sometime ... get sponsorship... will migrate after and go to the limbo together us????... or the idea is to keep people from XOC league in the XOC league for ever?. Same way hwbot has lots of reasons... there are lots of reason that's not positive... and mainly... because it will force the Pro OCCkers to follow what benchmarks and hardwares they will bench. I joined SF3D and Xtreme Addict Team... only to be not in the Limbo, BUT I still see non sense to remove the league. I don't know... but I see no light in the end of the tunnel.
  11. So Pieter... That's @Massman " And we're not talking about guys enlisted in companies - we're talking people like Splave, Rbuass or Xtreme Addict who try to climb their way up to the top with own funding. These are community members." @der8auer "We discussed that internally few weeks ago and hopefully it's no problem if I answer this Only real pro overclockers like vince, nick and andre who have 100% vendor support have to stay in the pro oc. Everybody else who is a "normal" overclocker can change back to OC-League." Then every overclocker knows that PSU, RAM and SSD is not needed to be Corsair...and everyone can get the scores regarless what good RAM (Gskill, Avexir, Corsair, etc). Also... I NEVER sent one "CPUZ Memory Clock"... even that I did not consider as benchmark. You know 100% of my scores actualy are 3D. I ask to consider my information and follow what you said. Also... I never agreed to remove Pro League. Pro Overclockers, like me, worked and followed Rev.4... and now... we are in the limbo (yes... if we not join a Team... we are in a limbo). I joined SF3D and Xtreme Adict... and we also... just joined to not be in the limbo... and not because we agreed. Now... SF3D thinking well... and knows that 5 benchmars... 3 months... is not a good idea.... and also... Michal... are worried with no teams and no competitions. I believe that nothing that is forced... is good. This way... we are no forced... but is better you think about to create a Limbo League. P.S. I have no doubt that you Pieter... really worked to Overclocking... and you are honest... and have all quality necessary to be administrator... and drive Hwbot... but consider you are human and can be wrong... and can be mistake yourself. Tks
  12. Thank you very much, der8auer. Yes, I would like, because I will have no way to keep in Pro league this way. Since I see no the Pro Overclockers working... and almost no scores... I hope is better to go to XOC League. In the real, I would prefer the way before... and keep the Pro league and add the F1 Pro Competition, but since is not possible, I prefer to work for free... because I can not help my partners for now. Maybe, if the F1 OC works well later... I will ask if is possible to migrate to F1... but for now... I am sure I would prefer XOC League. very thanks
  13. Please don't take part of what is not your problem... @Massman " And we're not talking about guys enlisted in companies - we're talking people like Splave, Rbuass or Xtreme Addict who try to climb their way up to the top with own funding. These are community members." @der8auer "We discussed that internally few weeks ago and hopefully it's no problem if I answer this Only real pro overclockers like vince, nick and andre who have 100% vendor support have to stay in the pro oc. Everybody else who is a "normal" overclocker can change back to OC-League." So please.... keep out of the discussion...because I am not talking to you... but to Hwbot staff. I never intude in what does not important "to me"...then... what are you talking where is not important "to you"?... and is not your problem...
  14. Also you must don't talk your opinion in questions that you not belong.... bro Thats completely "non sense" point of view... Why do you intrude on a subject that is not yours?...
  15. It depends what you mean to be considered as Pro. Maybe you can compare with the guys that receives tons of LN2... full tray of CPUs... Vgas and MBs to burn and replace. But IMHO.... It can pay about 2 or maybe 3 LN2 sessions in my country (6 USD / liter). So... to be a overclocker free lancer..... every single part is just nice... But to be includded as Pro league... I am sure that is not enough.
  16. Looks for people are not happy with the actual situation. In the name of overclocking... I hope hwbot solve this asap. I see no scores, no teams, and no overclockers encouraged. At first touch, I feel I was out of Hwbot... but even this way, I go try with 2 more overclockers and joined a team. But looks for there are no more actions... no scores, no team and no nothing. Maybe Sandybag... what I did not believe... If this keep this way, I will ask kindly to move me to XOC. I work for Corsair and I have no Ln2, Videocards, CPUs and Motherboards available to me... I work for marketing... with all Corsair products... and they sells many more vengeance than Dominator...many more PSU CX than AX... and so on... So... the only PC Parts I got from Corsair is 2 kits of Dominator, 4 SSDs and 2 AX1200i... and nothing more (ops... sorry... keyboard, pendrive and mouse)... I believe I can not be consider pro as well. Thanks
  17. Hello Hwbot Team! I do not know the level of importance of MSI Challenge, but I see no information on the final results and winners of the championship. In every championship I knew, it is necessary to confirm the results, so declare a winner. The competition went totally unnoticed... nobody told one word about it. No one reported any results, no one has confirmed the winner. I spent time, LN2 and effort to win... but looks for it was not important. I believe, since I was the winner and deserved at least one communication from HWBOT or MSI.... or how can somebody believe that will be good participate from competitions? I am really disappointed
  18. I said my opinion... The only way to grow up, is to update benchmarks. 3DMArk01, 03, 05, 06 AM3, Wprime.... blablabla... go to separate (something like "old scholl benchs" or so on). And 3DM11, Catzilla, Fire Strike, Unigine... AND ADD... Crysis, COD, Metro and important gaming benchmarks, will bring lots of newcomers from gaming community. Will be funny to bench Crysis benchmark at 1600 Mhz in the videocard... ane poeple around the world will tell.... OHHHH... Can run Crysis at XXX FPS!!!
  19. I had some issues...but it can happen even in other benchs.... Here worked well.... everytime I got bad scores was just change and fix the settings....so.. will be all right. Pretty nice benchmark With more time... 12k is possible I think
