    I'm not aware of a better score impromptu, but I guess/hope the true national record is DDR3-3000+ and just didn't make it to Hwbot. :D

     

    For those who are interested in Ivy-Bridge-CPUs with a decent IMC here are the CPU details:

    But please note the OC potential regarding the core frequency is rather low (@ air), so I don't recommend anything here.

  2. 1) Bug: CPU-Z world records on the right side are bugged - see the attachement. Real #2 is #1 and vice versa.

     

    2) Feature request (already posted in the old thread): If we have a CPU category with 8 cores and dual-socket-ability - wouldn't it be a good idea to set 16 cores as default setting when you choose to have a look at the results achieved with a dual-socket-mainboard? Have a look at the Xeon E5-2687W for example:

    You have to choose "Dual socket" first (which is fine) to see the benchmark overview. If you decide to watch the Wprime rankings the setting "Number of cores" has the value 8 - that would be useful if you would have chosen the "Single socket" option, but not if you're already at the "Dual socket" section. I suggest to adjust the "Number of core" setting according the chosen amount of sockets multiplied with the number of cores the CPU is specified for in general.

     

    Example:

    2-core-CPU + "single-socket" --> Default setting for "Number of cores" = 2

    2-core-CPU + "dual-socket" --> Default setting for "Number of cores" = 4

    2-core-CPU + "quad-socket" --> Default setting for "Number of cores" = 8

  3. I didn't get an answer two months ago when I asked the same, so good luck for you. I can't tell from my own experience if the SR-X beats the Z9PE-D8 WS BCLK-wise, but I haven't seen a Z9PE-D8 WS setup doing 105 MHz or more yet. 104 MHz seems to be the limit for most users, so I would like to know as well if higher values are possible with the Asus board.

     

    btw I have to be a fool to believe in transparency being beneficial for the community and try to include additional information like the mainboard I used on the screenshots and fill out the result details but I will continue this way. ;)

  4. ROFL, you should have seen my WTF-face when I read the thread title previously. I mean it's not like the false 0s 0ms 1M times or cheap fakes from new registered users that appear sometimes, but a well-known Hwbot user with a stable uber-killer-frequency (which still is an understatement :P). So I was like "No way, that's impossible! Hm, but maybe, just maybe somehow with weird rocket science I've never heard of ..." :D

  5. Actually I discovered the same some time before Christian opened this thread, but I was sure it's just a temporary problem.

     

    I mean who (except Christian Ney :P) records every downtime he discovers on various websites? :D (I would rather like to know why my hwbot signature looks weird once again, although I didn't change anything.)

  6. For air-cooling this is an outstanding result. Congratulations! It would be great to see this stick overclocked with subzero cooling.

     

    @BeepBeep2: Some for sure, but not all. The GTX2 I had could run 32M at higher frequencies, in triple channel mode and with tighter tRAS at <1.8 V (quicktest results here) and I think a lot of my Hyper sticks can do about the same (or even better given the short time I pushed the GTX2). I should finally test that someday. :D
