Don't get me wrong, but I think we don't have to discuss about extreme overclocking gear in a thread about the Cebit exhibition when there's a whole subforum about extreme overclocking for this matter.

GTX3 is a typo for sure, it's rather a quad-pack of GTX2-sticks. tRCD is way too low for GTX3 and Aristidis has already used GTX2-sticks in the past.

der8auer tested the EPower board with a 8800GTS/512 @ Dice and reported small frequency gains for GPU and VRAM (likely you will see bigger gains @ LN2): http://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/extreme-kuehlmethoden/203800-vmod-extreme-evga-epower-board-untouchables-im-test.html (German --> English via translator)

Damn SoF, that's useless. I think it works only for AMD, not Intel-CPUs. I followed the description, but it had no effect at all (except my HDD began to smoke
). I heard you need double as much files because of SMT. Am I right? I'm afraid to trash my only backup files left. -
I think it would be a good idea to adjust the thread title. "blablah is cheating" isn't something a member should claim as long there are just hints that something unusual - let it be a cheat/bug or tweak - happened. Things like that can result in reputational damage and aren't neccessary at all. In case Hwbot officially decides there's some cheating going on, there's plenty of time to call somebody a cheater afterwards. It's so easy to choose a neutral thread title - just a neat remark. I'm not taking sides or anything.

Do you think it's an alternative to choose an empty field instead of "stock cooling" as default, so you have to choose a proper cooling method to submit your result successfully? Stock cooling is likely not the cooling method used for most results (atleast for CPUs), so most overclockers have to click at the drop down menu anyway if they want to choose the right cooling method (except they're lazy/sloppy and that leads to the problem we're discussing now.)

Is it possible to force the users to double-check this entry, e. g. if the CPU frequency is above 5 GHz or if the achieved frequency is within the first third there appears a reminder in case you selected stock cooling?

Personally I prefer PM over E-Mail. I get so many e-mails on a daily basis, an e-mail from Hwbot is just one of many then. But if I refresh the Hwbot forum site and see I recieved a new PM I know it's a Hwbot matter and nothing else. However in case a user doesn't visit the Hwbot forum regularly, he can still get an e-mail about a new PM sent from the forum software automatically.

Not in general. I guess most of the time moderators have to deal with insufficent verificiation or description issues, which are minor problems and can be solved without a team captain in a more efficient way. If it is about a serious matter (like cheating) team captains should be involved. Howerver please notice the bigger a team is the more team captains it usually has. So before we end up dealing with 5+ discussing people, which can mean 5 different opinions and that it takes 5x the time, we should find a way to slim down that discussion process if necessary. One option I can think of is, that a user can choose which team captain should be involved if sth. serious happens and this one is the only one, who is allowed to moderate between the affected user and the staff members then. However that's maybe too much red tape again.

Info/details are always helpful for team captains. A thing worth thinking about is, what is part of the communication and what is not. It should be possible to have a private sphere, because being part of a team does not necessarily mean you want your team captains to know about every detail you discuss with the Hwbot staff.

Ok, no kidding, I'm not sure what this quesion is about. I think it's important to differ between passive communication and active communication. Passive communication means e.g. you have a subpage which lists all result moderation actions, which affect you. It can be like a database/archive, too. Active communications means I get an e-mail/PM and somebody expects an answer/some kind of reaction. The latter one should be rarely used, otherwise it's overkill for the users and the Hwbot staff. -
According to this list AMD Geode NX is interesting, too. (btw I told you, Hwbot should have a CPU-Z ranking based on OC in %.
