Might be some files here: Download Dfi BIOS drivers
-
I have an M3H5 somewhere... if it's working I can extract whatever BIOS is on it - at some point I might have a Pro875B, too, but i can't recall if I killed it some time ago or not. The last 5 are not in my collection.
-
It should be possible to do some research, no? I can save any bios I have on my boards.
-
That CD was great to have aback in the day.
Wasn't there a site that had all the DFI BIOSes (not dfi-street/diy-street) after DFI took them down?
Perhaps we could host these here?

I don't think Dimas will come out of this as a millionaire. This is just how businesses work, you try to keep them alive for as long as possible, and when you have too much debt or whatever you don't really make the choices yourself anymore. It's a part of the game. I think we've all lost RMA options or got screwed some other ways when (bigger) companies go bankrupt. You can't really expect people to become homeless for stuff like this, either.

What's the budget for designing a motherboard? Not completely from scratch, but like something similar to this LN2 one.
-
Lots of good advice here, thanks Not sure if that off I have is valid, but might still be useful to know what works for later... Dang it, would've liked that Z9PE WS board for $150...
-
I read about the toothbrush, but it scares me for something like an Intel socket...
-
I got a reasonable offer for buying a 2011 motherboard today. The problem is that apparently there's thermal grease in the socket. Never had such issues myself, so I'm wondering if anyone here experienced these things and managed to save the board? Or, how much replacing a socket (ASUS) will cost?

I wonder if the first one killed during benching might have been my golden E8700. I'm trying very hard to remember... but only motherboards used to die frequently. I did however kill a good Opteron 185 because I had static on my fingers. 4 red LEDs, and from that day I don't touch CPus without touching a PSU or something first
First PSU death would be an interesting thread... had a couple die with a bang lately, though not OC related. You REALLY remember that stuff

I agree to that. I will definately lose my #1 HW Masters spot if they're disabled next week. If the points will be gone I hope it's possible to set a date in the future, for example at the very end of this year.
-
If it was possible to add a "case" around it it might even be handy as a LAN-case, very easy to carry around.
Edit: #blind... or too lazy to scroll
-
...and if the answer is "no change", another poll will pop up later - until there are enough people who want it gone. Might as well do it right away if no "no change" decision is final.

Don't touch ma pointz!
You could always have a note somewhere on the main pages for the benchmark itself that the benchmark is what it is in terms of being a tweakfest, and that it will not be a high priority task for mods to investigate results that are questionable, but not obviously wrong. Then whoever participates knows what he/she is getting into.

About time I paid this forum a visit I'll chip in a few buxx
-
Some good ideas here Not sure how time consuming it would be for Franck, but it should be possible
I guess the moderation team would love this, no more "missing mem tab" reports
-
Just a random thought, wouldn't it be cool to have a CPUZ version with a HWBot style layout? Not sure how much it would cost for a design, but I'd chip in a buck or two.

Thanks exam prep sucks, if not I would've thanked you sooner.

Happy birthday, Hipro

I really want to help out, but as some of you probably have noticed, I do not really have alot of spare time at the moment.
-
You need engineering samples, and then some OC utility... PSCheck is my favourite
-
Doesn't work like that here. You return the card, and then you never see it again unless it's tested to be in good, working condition
-
I may have to RMA a 7970 to a local shop, but when I bought it it came with no stock cooler, only a full cover WB. Anyone got a cooler for me?
-
What's the UCBench score for this rig?
I like that the bench is "disabled", my WR will last forever

I can provide a photo, but it's just a blank IHS. This is an ES of some sort that is detected that way.
