has very little to do with the board or the memory ... still a nice IMC !
Not sure, same cpu max out 2933 on evga and 2950 on gbt boards (32m)

Hey guys
Got the mobo and memories and started to test them, this combo seems the best for ivyBridge CPUs and Z77 Platform, the G.SKILL TridentX 2666CL11
Could do easy +3.0GHz under SingleStage -20 degrees, the Maximus V Formula is simply AWESOME and Stable board, first time i tried this board at Computex 2012 and the board was stable with 2KG Ice close the memories and cpu and VGA never shutdown never hot any problem with it.
With the right CPU this combo fly over 3.0GHz memories easy even on air cooling
here are some results with latest Bios 0502... check it out....
2666 9-12-12-21
2666 9-12-11-21
2666 10-12-11-25 Extra tight timing
2933 11-13-13-35 mmmm seems IMC is good lets try higher with higher VCCSA and VCCIO
3000 11-13-13-35 SuperPI 32m my dream comes true
lets go higher
3020 11-13-13-35 Pi8m
3040 11-13-13-35 you know i hate 1m
3010 11-13-13-35 Pi8m quick video

forget about ait bining need to test direct ln2.
we tried 50 retail cpus at computex but we werent lucky, some cpu 47 and 49 and some 50 and 51x, best ln2 cpu was one of the 50s and then one of the 49x ...all 51x were crap.

first of all i know what u guys want to see so here we go
We focused only on memory OC, here are some of the results we were able to achieve this week.
4.47.469 Pi32m Retail 3770K from Fredyama-San CPU
3286MHz on G.SKILL 2800CL11 16GB memories on maximus V Formula

sure i drink any drink lol
oooow sushi...... u remember in taxi ? haha

What RAM are you using Hiwa?
tried PSC,BBSE,Samsung
-
massman, looks scary fast in that screenshot (oh wait)
have you taken the RAM out of DIMM slots since that bios flash just out of interest? There is only one difference in those bios files and it has nothing to do with RAM
massman is right same problem here with UD5X F8D vs S4
-
m5g stuck at 16 yesterday now at 35 + turbo if enable maybe tmr will be ok ? lol
-
does anyone have some good advice for removing the CBB and cb
I have CBB = 105 and cb = 150
what board ?
-
Clearly a fail chip Better sell it cheap :p
i really don't care about +6600 i care about that +2900 IMC
this chip can do 2800 with 1.00 VTT and 0.99 VCCSA lol

L214C112
5GHz Air 1.35 4/8
Ln2 GD65 6580 1.77 Wprime 6340
32m test : need to set all timings manually or very bad performance if set auto, bad subs setter, nice memory clocker and i hate Control center, you need windows managment service enable to open CCII and need framework 4 on 2D OS ..... oh no i like tiny OS *
Ln2 M5G 6610 1.77 Wprime 6390
32m test : Simply Rock but loves nice memories, with normal memory is a bit lazy board, Best memory Clocker and very stable board.
Ln2 UD5X 6470 1.77 Cold problem Wprime 6390
32m test: Simply Rock like M5G, nice memory clocker and nice performance, Great tool for OS OC much better than asus and msi tool, on LN2 killed me with CBB.
Cpu don't scale after 1.80
+2900 IMC 1.25 VTT on all Boards with samsung

now we talk

Me and James + vendors rep will use 4 different boards 4 days full benching, asus, gbt, msi, evga
We will have two good Japanese friends there with us this year and one guy from Singapore.
I have asus and gbt here and can say they are both are great on memory clock.
Will try msi and evga board next week and if get time before computex prepare a nice memory ivy testing on all boards, simple test with different memory ics ( Samsung, hynix, psc, bbse) no hypers caz they are really bad on ivy ( 24xx ).
See u there all guys lets meet up in GSkill booth.

G.SKILL TridentX + Maximus V Formula Z77 Strongest COMBO ... 3000 SuperPi 32m AIR
in Ivy Bridge (Z77) OC

hynix and sams = after 1.85 they don't give u much MHz they don't stop scaling but for example 1.80 u get 2750 and 1.85 u get 2800 but 1.95 u get only 2820 at least close to 1.85 /1.90 enough for benching with very good strong fan.
