peltier... using a modified boreas so I can control the temps for condensation.. basically chilled antifreeze cooling the chip with a standard water block.. does the job..

I have tested 3 sb's on ud7 and GD65. The first 2 would not go past 52 multi on either board... and seem to need high vcore on air... lower vcore on ss.. My 3rd is the monster chip... will do 57 multi... so it looks like a chip limitation. On the GD65 board.. if you get the pcix error... make sure your on the newest bios and mem is loosened up and then tighten it down.. could also be a vcore issue.... I need cold to bring mine down any further... sb is a whole new wave of overclocking... quite interesting...

I have no issue with the 1.8b6 bios.. sounds like you don't have enough mem volts.. That when I experienced the same issue..

Same crippled core chip.. haven't touched my other chip yet.. since I bought this one froma retail outlet... Ocz Freeze all the way....

Going to try with cascade to see if cold helps with next multi.. no she can do it.. Just don't want to criple the last core.. She's a beauty..

I had 2 chips locked at 52.. its a chip issue... Tried on UD7 and GD65.. I had another chip hit 5.7 on GD65.. but I have memory issues.. using the 1.7 bios... I will try 1.8 likely today or tomorrow.. hopefully beable to get the blck up ... maybe 6ghz action... this chip might have it.. have another of the exact same batch.. so we will see.... GB needs to fix there bios tripping... it is really annoying.... Went over to the msi board for now.. EFI is actually pretty nice to work with...

I don't know about some people, but I tend to only bench good point getter's anymore because of the time I can donate.. I think more benches with good point structure could make some benches grow quicker then normal... Look at heaven.. since it was introduced with good amount of points.. lots and lots of people are now benching it... Having a seperate system of hw/global/no points.. will determine if it is popular or not... I could be wrong.. but thats what I keep rolling around in my head... lol

The chip is still alive can do 5.7 easily on air, I have another of the same batch... I wasn't loading the chip at all and my ss stopped working right as I began testing... It only works with single core, otherwise it will just blue screen even at stock clocks... Still good for 32m , potash and 1m, the other results posts are with this chip....
