  1. ok, the newsflash sounds like it is a problem concerning the EL mainly, but the changes made are so massive... :-( I dropped from place 7 of OL to place 46... In the HWL, I have 1629 pts but in hardware rankings under points earned it says 471.6 hardware???
  2. sorry, it is me again: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2253494_ http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2253496_ http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2253497_zz_top_unigine_heaven___xtreme_preset_(dx11)_4x_radeon_hd_7970_7120.79_dx11_marks Thanks in advance...
  3. Could you please check these: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2253211_ http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2253205_ http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2248952_zz_top_unigine_heaven___xtreme_preset_(dx11)_4x_radeon_hd_7970_7063.17_dx11_marks Thanks in advance
  4. Could you check this, please: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2251194_
  5. ok - it is checked - but where are the WR points? ...just lost 30 points :-(
  6. Could you check these submissions, please: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2249006_zz_top_unigine_heaven___xtreme_preset_(dx11)_3x_radeon_hd_7970_7148.17_dx11_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2248968_zz_top_3dmark11___performance_4x_radeon_hd_7970_26446_marks
  7. Do these submissions get additional points? http://hwbot.org/submission/2244581_zz_top_3dmark03_2x_radeon_hd_7970_218932_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2247943_zz_top_unigine_heaven___xtreme_preset_(dx11)_3x_radeon_hd_7970_7118.76_dx11_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2245209_zz_top_unigine_heaven___xtreme_preset_(dx11)_2x_radeon_hd_7970_5700.3_dx11_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2247440_zz_top_3dmark11___performance_3x_radeon_hd_7970_24283_marks http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2247981_zz_top_3dmark03_3x_radeon_hd_7970_212425_marks
  8. Thanks - the HD 7970 seems to be very good for PCM05 as well ;-)...
  9. ...and what about him? http://www.hwbot.org/user/patriot/ the CPU used for the submissions is not an AMD Opteron 6164 HE http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Opteron%206164%20HE%20-%20OS6164VATCEGO.html
  10. When the result was submitted the 61xx was the "current" line and the "new" line (62xx) was just presented (14th of November 2011) but isn't available yet ;-)... A 61-1 CPU can just be anything. An Intel 990X ES is an Intel 990X and it is now officialy available. An unlocked "AMD Opteron 61-1" isn't available and will not be available officialy. In this case it is more like a prototype. And "61-1" can't be categorized or put to a certain product (e.g. 6176, etc.) The use of these CPUs allow the submission of more results than allowed and make the work for you more difficult. What if there will be an Intel CPU that is locked even as an ES. And one person has an unlocked version of this CPU. Normaly it would be no problem for him to take an advantage of this. With the new revision this user gets a lot of points for himself (59.8) and for his team (55.0) with his submission I think you and the staff have to check this very good...
  11. ok - than the Use of ES is allowed when the product is officially released - I understand. But what about the fact that this ES has a feature, that normal 61XX (AMD Opteron / Magny Cours) do not have. The AMD Opteron 6180SE has the highest available multiplier of the officialy released CPUs of this lineup: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Opteron%206180%20SE%20-%20OS6180YETCEGO.html The Multiplier of the 6180SE is 12.5x. There is no officialy available AMD Opteron 61XX with a multiplier of 18x. I don't think that it is fair to use this CPU in an official competition because as I said before it is very easy to overclock an Opteron just by the multiplier because they have a lot of "headroom" @stock voltages. It is really difficult to change all the different settings (Bus - speed, HT-Link, DRAM - Speed, DRAM - Timings, etc.) to get a higher result with a fixed multiplier...
  12. ok, could you give me an explanation of old gen ES - what CPU is old gen ES and what CPU isn't? As I said before it is absolutely no problem to overclock an Opteron by just changing the multiplier but it is more difficult to adjust the settings for OC by changing the "Bus Speed", because you have to play a lot with the "HT Link"- and the "DRAM" Settings to push the system. and I think it is also not good, that "probaply" the same CPU can be a 6164HE and a 6168: 6164HE: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2158675_patriot_wprime_32m_2x_opteron_6164_he_3sec_310ms 6168: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2158677_patriot_wprime_1024m_2x_opteron_6168_59sec_440ms CPU-Z only shows AMD Opteron 61-1 (ES) - what do you think?
  13. Although this was reported, nothing has been done here as well - it is simply easy overclocking an Opteron by an open multiplier. There are other results with these ES CPUs: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2158675_patriot_wprime_32m_2x_opteron_6164_he_3sec_310ms http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2158677_patriot_wprime_1024m_2x_opteron_6168_59sec_440ms probably the same CPUs but in an other category... Either this user has to be moved from "Enthusiast League" to "Pro League" or he shouldn't get points for that!
  14. "User should be moved to Pro :)" ...same here: http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2158678_patriot_wprime_1024m_2x_opteron_6164_he_59sec_436ms This is an AMD Opteron 61-1 (ES) CPU with a Multiplier of 18x. The AMD Opteron 6164HE only has a fixed Multiplier of 8.5X (8.5 x 200 - 1.7 GHz)...
