As I inderstand Smoke it was cold bug
he can use 005B bios of R4E or force Gen2 on other bios

Just got this in my mailbox from a friendly anonymous source. According to source, this BIOS is supposed to be the xtreme OC bios for the reference HD 7970 (just like the 'pros' are using). It would allegedly disable powertune and override CCC limits.
- AMD Radeon HD 7970 (reference) xtreme oc BIOS: http://91.121.148.119/downloads/VGABIOS/Tahiti_XT_C3860100_X00_BIOS_Dec20_2011.exe
Double-click the .exe and the bios will be flashed on your card. If you tested this BIOS, please provide feedback
No change for me compared to the Asus bios

After some test blocked with 1125Mhz max GPU frequency ... i flashed the Bios of the M*I card with the A**S Bios to get GPU Tweak full tabs.

Just flash with the Bios from main folderwith ATIwinflash. ATIwinflash is in GPU Tweak folder after installation

mostly integrated gpu improvements..... 2012 might be boring for cpus..

you need new eeprom, i dont know how that bug is coming and i had that kind of bug/Me part dead with 2 brands using MX eeprom 32Mo chip.

The 1M isnt our best one , our best one was to 6.1Ghz with higher uncore :-)
Also For ECO test ... we had to run the 06 forest with FPS above 60 ^^ with the lowest power consumption possible.
