Cool video

I agree that there should be dates for bi weekly prizes

Damm I miss PSC/Elpida drams.
Samsungs/Hynix aren't that big fun. Don't scale so good @ ln2 (also scale but not that good) and are slow
-
Why not

You were lucky that I didn't watch livestream cause was too busy... I have one special ability, I look at Hasfail and it's dead

Gigabyte Poland in cooperation with PCLab.pl organized awesome grill party, we had everything, cold beer, barbecue and of course some LN2 with Z87 OC boards  There were two configurations, one prepared for G.Foyle and second for me.
The whole event was organized to promote new Z87 platforms. The most valuable polish users from PCLab.pl were invited by Gigabyte Poland to see GB OC Board live in action!
My setup:
i7 4770K retail
GB Z87X OC Board
2x2 GB G.skill PI 2200CL7
AMD HD7990
PSU Highpower 1600W
EK-SF3D Inflection Point EVO & EK-SF3D Triple Point EVO
GB OC board worked very well and it was fun to use it. All OC buttons work, and are very useful. Board itself is a tough one, cause in the end I let inexperienced users to play with it and it was still alive
Soon I will push it with some good retail Haswell
And movie from the event!
(Click on food picture lol)
Enjoy

Nice Any HW victims?

Those are PIS?
Last night I benched my PIS 2200 CL7 for IGP Cloud Gate 2933 8-12-8-28 1T 88 TWCL 7 easy on ln2 on Asrock Z87M OC Formula

Crazy mems and IMC in CPU!

It looks home made cause it's home made lol I found those screws in my box of screws and with pads they work like charm! Maybe not so sexy looking like original , but for me it's faster and more easy (easier than buying screw driver with dedicated head haha)

I like the pots overall too,
the only "complaint" i would have is the mounting system is too complicated for quick installation, like at a live competition swapping out CPU's might take a bit long, i would prefer a traditional mounting system too just for the quick experienced bencher! The pot handles my cpu great on cinebench so the functionality of the pot is perfect
It's very fast, but you need to have screwdriver (not this small allen key which is in accessories, it's not handy for very "fast" remounting) or replace screws for bigger like I did (cause I have fat fingers and small screws, especially from dram pot is very hard for me to "aim" into holes, and I personally don't like allen key type screws )
@Petri
CPU is not bad for a retail Hasfail and so far it works and didn't degrade!
BTW
During SF3D Gathering, we used EK-SF3D Inflection Point EVO with LGA 2011 setup.
You can imagine how hot this beast is when you have 1.7v + -35*C bench temperature
-
Yap, I noticed it too
-
Looking nice
But in fact prize for 3rd place sometimes has higher value than for 2nd
-
Boris the beast

Good luck with 300k barrier!

I finally benched seriously Hasfail platform, this time using EK-SF3D Inflection Point EVO & EK-SF3D Triple Point EVO
1. Mounting system works great, it's easy and fast (but you need to get used to it after using old brackets).
2. CPU and MEM pots don't freeze motherboard as much as much bigger pots, but still handle 4770K Hasfail very well in 2D benchmarks.
3. During OC I was using HEAT system, not sure if it helped, but I could bench my Hasfail longer with full MHz (6.5+ SPI32M) before it gets "tired" and loses stability at full MHz, normally it happens after 30-40 minutes, and I benched 2+ hours without any stability loss.
4. Isolation on board for CPU pot is a piece of cake

L320B491 is so far a golden batch (2x 6.5 GHz SPI32m cpus) so I would risk with B489
