Well, we can all agree that Nvidia could make it more simple
But the performance in benchmarks comes from the max clocks and if you have some monitoring software open you should see straight flat line at ~1960MHz during that run. It does not matter that much, but for some users it might be confusing if 680 is not familiar. -
Very nice result and with that type of cooling it's even more impressive
You should put the max boost frequency in the submission as it already caused confusion to Mehdi. In my case 1610 would mean 1960MHz but you are running MSI, so I have no idea.

Sam, 7-11-7 did not boost the score and this was more stable. CPU is crap anyway

Yes, that chip is all I have now. I will push the score if I get some help with the VGA. Now it is extremely hard to bench and nerves need to be extremely long

ES CPU is allowed, cause there is no advantage of using it on this competition. So, there is no problem with it.

I had no issues with Vista installation, but I used IDE mode. That's only difference I could imagine.
Performance should be better without any adjustments in 3DM05, so it sounds a bit weird to get 10K lower.
I hope there is some easy fix for that, cause I hate when things like that happen

We have talked about the issue, that when new benchmarks are added, there is just more and more work to be done to get all points needed to get on top. I think there was no chance to make any real modifications to this system with earlier revisions, so maybe it will work in the new one.
I do agree, that new benchmarks should be added and they would need to get some exposure. In current system all new benchmarks are just making life more difficult and it is annoying.
In upcoming PRO OC league.. or whatever the name will be.. there is no need to vote which benchmarks are used, cause it will have seasons and HWbot can decide what benchmarks are used in season 1, 2 and so on. In other leagues there is need for selection, but I really don't know what is the best way to do it. Public vote might work, but usually only 2-5% of whole community answer to polls etc, so it might be hard to make correct decisions with them.

Remember that this competition is just for EU citizens, so unfortunately rest of the world need to just follow how it goes.
Posting scores to sf3d.fi is not mandatory, but highly appreciated, so we can keep track how the scores are evolving.

Hypers wont work well and that have been same situation since FM1 cpu's. You need to take some samsung based sticks and run 2600mhz+ like massman said. At least memory is cheap nowadays, so that should be no issue

Long time no see, but it was time to come back for a while.
I try to make long story short, so some users won't get annoyed by this thread.
I have been gathering these parts long time and doing some pretesting.
Then I got opportunity to be home alone 2 weeks and that was my moment of truth.
Can I still make it and do I have enough motivation to spend sick amount of time with my setup.
I did find some motivation and nice hardware gave me lovely moments
I need to say, that benching just for yourself without the need of pleasing someone is really good.
I have bought this CPU with my own money and I have bought this memory kit from my friend,
who found it from the discount section of one shop. Motherboard came from ASRock, but that's all..rest you need to do yourself
Setup:
*Intel Core i7 3770K binned and bought with good amount of money (Voltages from 1.94V up to 2V in 3D load. Yes 2V!)
*G.Skill PI series memory with PSC chips. Voltage 1,85V-1,92V depending on benchmark
*ASRock Z77 OC Formula with old basic bios (Works best with my memory kit)
*ASUS GTX 680 DC II Top, GTX 580 DC II Top, HD 7970 Matrix PE. MSI GTX 670 PE for 2D.
*Kingston HyperX SSD 120GB and some old HDD's.
*Cooler master benchtable (Works really well and does not take too much room)
*Corsair 1200W PSU and Cooler master 1500W PSU depengin on test.
*Win XP, Vista, Win7 32 to 64-bits
*SF3D OC Infelction point CPU pot
*SF3D OC Triple point memory pot

Ok, I will gather the screenshots together and most of them have been seen already, but let's not worry about that.
So 2D first:
Superi 1M with not so good efficiency:
Pifast with same story
Wprime 32M and 1024M. Did not want to push these too much, so chip would not die.
Superpi 32M the second screenshot is the one I will remember long time
Need to rerun soon to get over it!
Then 3D:

3Dmark03 CF (Need to rerun with ln2 cards)

Others will follow later this months hopefully.
So, I am happy with the results and it was really nice to feel the same feeling as I felt years a go while benching.
I hope there will be happy moments with hardware in the future too
Now I will get back to my normal life and rankings can go as they like

OS is not so good for 1m or pifast. For me they are not the most interesting ones, so I am fine with it. Thanks anyway

Yamunsa is getting close
FF or in this case 00 wouldn't make any difference as there was no ln2 left. I was forced to stop anyway. This is one of the most annoying things I know in overclocking. I need that truck with 30 000 liters of ln2 on my backyard

If you do direct deals face to face or via msn or pm's I am totally out of the loop and can not track any of those cases.
There is no problem to get info from ryba, but it will just take time. He have not been too active lately in general.

Hi! I am sorry to hear this sort of story once again. I am well aware of these issues, but I have no power to fix other peoples lifes.
All the customers have got their products in the end, so that area is still ok.
I will try to push him to solve this issue.

Might be a bit low, but I have only 4 cores active without HT. I just need better GT3 as GT1/2 are ok

Memory temp was around -70C° to -80C° and voltage was 1.88V (1.9V real)

Nice! But your GT1 seems to be way too high for the clocks and GT2 too low for the clocks
What's up with that?
