It is true believe it or not, if you have a look at last year's thread you will see that all the scores i provided have efficiensy under 60k. http://www.hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2570 You can see my bios at the screenshot, 0301...i have 0201 is well...etc.. Light, PL5, strap 200, 1/2. Different benchmarks...act different...haven't run wPrime under single stage though...no time... I have a faster one 1M... stealth -

Ok, my 32M superPi checked by a moderator and the warning gone from my profile page But for the 1M low efficiency score still there, what about it? I gave so many runs with the same CPU last year, all of them were under 60k efficiensy, must be the CPU guys, i don't have any other exlpanation. stealth -
@massman, http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=942049 http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=942048 Same story over and over again, in my profile page it says that two of my submissions require my attention. The user fuzz3l & Kovsk reported my scores in Celeron 420 category, calls me a possible cheater and he doesn't like my superPi window. (see attachment). I can't go through the same thing again and try to prove i am not an elephant.I don't know what else to do than throw this CPU out of the window. This CPU does low efficiency scores. Here is last year's thread: http://www.hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2570 I have a faster score than this one in 1M category, 17.094s @3455.5MHz and i think i can do lower than 17'' at 3487MHz. Mr. fuzz3l & Kovsk, have a look at this and tell me what is the strange thing in superPi window? http://www.hwbot.org/forum/showpost.php?p=27555&postcount=27 Do i have to take your permission on how to tweak my windows or do you think you are the only person in the world who knows maxmem, copy wazza and other tweaks? Thanks for your attention. stealth

I can see every page correct, 1024X768 win XP SP3 IE8 here. What i can't find is my team's page as it used to be, i.e. with all members listed and the points next to every name. Also what i would like to see in the team page if possible is, the total amound of points every member has give to his team next to his name (for example, global + max hardware points 350 plus 100 hardware points that don't count to his personal rank) so we know how many points in total every one has give to his team. stealth

Congrats for the good work. The guys in bot put a lot of efford and gave their best for rev.3 so we need to give it at least a month time to see how it works before we judge it. I lost 100 points and over 400 places in rankings is well but this is not the point, the problem is that i am totally confuse and i don't know what is worth to bench now.Is it worth to bench my old s478 CPUs and GPUs any more or is it better to go for newer stuff? Happy new year guys. stealth

Strangely high 3DMark03 scores in Windows 7
stealth replied to boogerthe2nd's topic in Submission & member moderation
It's a pity...i could get some nice scores this way with my 8600 and the 8800GTX:p:p:p stealth -
Have a look at this: http://www.hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2037 Hwbot should think seriously to set the cap for hardware points to 400 or 500,isn't going to hurt any one:) stealth

Massman, did my scores gave you an idea of what is happening, any conclusions? The lowest efficency i did in my scores in post #47 was 59349, with this efficiency at 3368 i should get 17.62s SuperPi 1M score. So how difficult can be to hit a 17.5s score?I think i can do it again when i be able to reach this speed. stealth -

Ok,here it is...i did five runs at 3200-3250-3300-3320-3340MHz as you said, clean XP boot and run. Top five without any tweaks (PL10). Middle five only ram tweaks (PL5). Last five full tweaked. I hope this helps to come to a conclusion. stealth -

I understand what you say, also i understand why you don't believe me but this is what is happening and i can't help it. I don't do anything more or less than most benchers do,with the Celeron 420 i can get an efficiency around 59.4-59.5 very easy. I can't test it at 3368 again ( i can't go higher than 3347 any more) so i don't know if i can repeat the 17.5s run but from what i can remember when i was trying to do this, the second best score i did was around 17.6s. Give me an hour time to finish work and i will give you the runs you ask for.Do i have to tweak the ram or leave it at defaults? Thanks for the help. stealth -

How can this happen? 3322 : 8=415, 415 X (1/2)=415 X 2= 830 DDR3 1660 CL7 3368 : 8=421, 421 X (2/3)=421 X 1.5= 631.5 DDR2 1263 CL5 Both boards use the X48 chipset but the one is DDR2 and the other DDR3 (RF and RE). At CPU speed 3322 you can't have 842MHz DDR3 1684 memory speed and in the other case with CPU speed 3368 at 2/3 you will have a memory speed of 631.5MHz DDR2 1263. stealth -

Yes,but you have to wait until tonight when i go home,i am working on Sundays is well. When you say "to run a few 1M's using a normal, clean XP" you mean not to use any tweaks, not even system cache and performance mode? From what i can see i get better efficiency as i go higher in CPU speed. stealth -

Do you have an explanation for this,do you know why this happen? Is it mean you going to unblock my score? You mean post #26. I ran these scores one after the other without reboot,i used every tweak i know and ran it before every run, memory tweaks is what you see in the images. stealth -

Massman, any news? You got to find an answer to this, it's a pity to make me stop benching in the young age of 49 years. stealth -

Clever.... This is my Athlon XP system at work. Now if you turn off the wallpaper, then right click on desktop>properties>appearance>Set to classic style. After right click on My Computer>advanced>performance>settings>visual effects>adjust for best performance>apply. Now tell me what is the wierd in the font and what is the difference between my font and this one. And to answer to your question...no i don't run through Linux's WINE emulator,i use win XP Home Greek. PS.I have some more tips you can make your system faster, you just have to ask;) stealth -

Well...one more test last night result...chaos. Ran the Celeron from 3.0 - 3.3GHz in 50MHz increments. If you get any conclusion from these please let me know. Seems my Celeron likes to act like a quad.LOL stealth -

No,i don't have a clue why this happens, the only thing i know is i can do it. I am trying to find out is well what is wrong (if there is something wrong),also i know for sure that i can repeat low efficiency scores as many times i want even at lower speeds. Thanks a lot:) stealth -

I will try to help you but not this way,you can ask for anything else:D Everybady try to make their systems faster and you telling me to make mine slower with a bios update? I have seen what problems other guys get with these bioses. May is not an anomality, may these boards should perform that fast and you should extent the scale:) Any other way? stealth -

I gave it a quick try at lunch time...according to what you say "fastest is around 60.3k", even these scores are off scale and you will block them again. So which is the solution to this? It seems the only i can do is to stop benching with this hardware because it happens to run faster than what the scale says. stealth -

All the other runs made on a Rampage Formula, the 17.5s run is on a Rampage Extreme (DDR3) if this helps. The problem is i can't get up to 3370MHz any more:(...it needs a lot more voltage and it's not possible on air,so i can't test it again until i get an SS. I will give it a try at lower speed to see what i can get and compare. stealth -

No i didn't check the log...tell me what to look for and i will do it. With this logic you should block almost every single result of mine... Even my second score in the Celeron 420 category is a lot faster than higher runs...but this was just testing... So tell me what is the correct score i should get at this speed to compare with the best i can do. A64 rulezzz... stealth -

I know you didn't block my score:) Already said why the score been blocked, someone report my score with the reason "Not real at 3368MHz",after that it comes to the hwbot moderators to decide what to do. So what i want to know is who decides is not real at 3368MHz and blocked my score for that reason and by what rules he did so. stealth
