  1. This is literally the only way forward. I think Splave summarized it well, the current system is completely broken for AMD.

If some benchmarks are not compatible yet, such as wprime, then they simply cannot be used. As is stands now there are 2 multi-thread global benchmarks which are technically legal (GPUPI 1B and X265 4K)... TWO LEGAL BENCHES PEOPLE   If we enforce benchmate requirement then we have hope for the future. I am fully on board with this and you should be too!

  2. Hey guys,

I am selling my MSI MPG Z390I Gaming Edge AC because I just don't have much use for it. The board has less than 20 hours total usage and its in perfect working condition. I purchased the board from Amazon a few months ago, and the box + accessories are mint. The list of mods I have done are as follows:

    • 5 small mods for LN2 usage
    • Potentiometer with disable switch for DDR4 memory voltage
    • DDR4 memory voltage read point sockets to attach your voltmeter
    • Special bios from Toppc with built in profiles for memory frequency validation
    • Syringe style liquid electrical tape insulation on top
    • Spray plastidip insulation on the bottom

It's $190 on Amazon, I am looking to get $130 shipped USA or $120 + actual international shipping

  3. I haven't found a need for updates past SP1. There are a few things you may need like dotnet 3.5 and such, but those are standalone and not part of the updates. In a very rare case you need a standalone update for W7 to make HWinfo in GPUPI work, but technically that's not even required for Hwbot rules.

Was there something in particular you needed the updates for?

I like a similar format to the last couple of years 8 stages 3 subs a stage for DDR, DDR2, DDR3, DDR4 the actual benches and systems I will leave upto you lot for now.

I second this!!  It was a very good way to organize the huge comp...

Please bring back DDR1/2/3/4 frequency validation as one of the stages

I was wondering what you were going to do with this card.

Did you have a project in mind?  I have a spare waterblock if that will help you? I put EPower on #1 bin and now the waterblock is rotting in a box...

  6. You can find any number of cheap china blocks that will work with the weird hole spacing of GTX460.  Here is an example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Computer-PC-GPU-Water-Cooling-Block-Universal-Waterblock-Liquid-Cooler/133034855338?hash=item1ef97ecbaa:g:SX8AAOSw6JZcxC9O

Were you looking for a full cover reference water block?  For reference cards performance PC's has them for $30 on clearance here: http://www.performance-pcs.com/bitspower-black-freezer-vg-ngtx460-acrylic-top-with-stainless-panel.html

  7. Up for sale is #2 of 4 GTX480 samples I binned. This one has a great core and excellent memory (tied memory with #1). I tested the card before mods and it still has stock OEM paste. The cool thing about this card is that you can unscrew the OEM waterblock and you will be left with an amazing standalone VRM cooler to use with your own waterblock or LN2 pot. As for mods, it should have everything you need for subzero except the coldslow bios (which I can flash if you want).

I am not looking to make money, I just want to break even on this card. The price is $75 shipped USA or $60 + international shipping.
