All-female OC team at MOA/GOOC/... ?
saint19 replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Development: bugs, features and suggestions
The idea of a female team is good, but why with free ticket? All teams need participate and win stages and events to get the ticket to the finals (eg: MOA). I had never go to any of those contest, but even that I think that all teams (male, female or mix) should show the skill that they have and win the ticket to the finals. What's next? If it's a free nOOb ticket, count me there -
We definitely need two leagues, or maybe four. Why? For noobs like me with AMD CPUs or not new hardware, is pretty frustrating compete against guys with an i7-980x using LN2 or even the same AMD CPU using phase change or LN2. Intel and AMD leagues are necessary IMO, all we know that Intel is much better that AMD and in that way is pretty difficult beat an i5-2500k or i7-920 D0, even, if the other guy is a noob too. I consider myself as a noob, so, +1 for different leagues in HWBot. Some question comes to my mind: 1- I read the article, but I can't understand what means ES. [update]Nevermind, I read again and now is clear. 2- How determinate how is Pro and who isn't?

I think that are both, MSI AMD (MSI 6850). @Massman: Tom's hardware also is referring to the contest: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/Eyes-On-The-Prize-DirectX-11-3DMark-11-Radeon-6970-Lightning,12171.html -

Thats because the system order the rank from high to low, even if the contest in the opposite order. -
Hi guys. I want add my score to the Memory Clock, but I have a few questions before do it. 1- What should contain the screen shot? I try to read the rules but don't show any info. 2- The benchmark score is the RAM clock in the BIOS right? i.e. 800MHz...1000MHz and not the dual channel clock...1600MHZ...2000MHz 3- In memory info, Do i need write the default RAM info? or the overclock settings
-
Enable cores can be do it without problems, since is part of overclock.
-
Thanks.

On Stage 4, Is valid disable cores as in Stage 2? -
Wait, are you telling that is legal dissable cores? For example, Is legal dissable two cores of a six core CPU and run the benchmark for stage 4? and the same process from one to six cores?

As the archivement says: I will join to this since you can disable cores. But I have a question, for 3DMark Vantage, PhysX must be disable right? -

Yeah, I'm thinking in change to SB since the AMD price/performance isn't more true with those CPUs on the market. -

Yeah, you are right. I just wrote my opinion. I think that my chip isn't good since with H20 I can't pass the 4.6GHz @ 1.650V on Vcore. I think that this contest also depends of your skill and experience, and to be honest this is my 1st contest in hwbot.
