In testing core eff at 5.5ghz, core 0 was pretty bad, this was on core 1. I don't think core 0 could beat this one, even if I squeezed more freq out of it.
I'm a bit reluctant to give it 1.9v. The last deneb I gave 1.9v to, now says dirty things about my mother when I try to get it to clock past 5ghz. Maybe I'll wait till you give your's a go , would give me some incentive...

With these competitions limiting stages by cpu/gpu sockets, I've found myself wanting to search submissions based on those parameters (as chip families can span multiple sockets), like say best AGP score on a certain bench. It seems like every cpu/gpu already has a socket assigned to it, as it shows it on the summary page.
Would be nice to have that as a parameter field in the search engine

You thinking of the 06 one back in Feb?

No hover hand. Good job

The phenom achievement has been broken for a long time. I have a 103 phenom subs (most are over 8 months old I believe), and the progress bar shows like 5

and something else.... i think that this thing could be solved much much easer if the rules are on a place that ALL can see them... in every forum or community i have entered the rules are on a sticky thread... where r they???
Well, if you had bothered to look around the main page, you could have found them.
Go to the main page. On the top it says "Rules & Guides" or go here http://hwbot.org/article/general_rules . Then it shows a list of items. #4 is Lending hardware, hardware sharing.
Under item #4 it says:
Let’s start with what is allowed to be shared: everything except:- VGA may not be shared for 3D Benchmarks
- CPU may not be shared for 2D Benchmarks
- special cases, like what to do with joint bench sessions and manufacturer hardware is explained here.
The last one links to a post by massman:
Bench session with more than 1 person:- post result to account of owner of the hardware (3d: vga, 2d: cpu)
- when sli bench with two owners (each one card) post result to one account (you can chose which account)
- FORBIDDEN: post multiple results of the same session spread over different accounts
- FORBIDDEN: share cpu on 2D and/or gpu on 3D benches with team members to gain more points.
So in short, no, you cannot share results, even if the skills levels between the users are different.

I meant to direct this at competitions, not so much standard benching.
All a direct result of someone beating my previous one. I would have to agree with IMOG, that competition drives higher scores. Unfortunately, you can't really prevent sandbagging unless you give weight to early subs so as to force people to put the best up early. But that creates problems with timing (finding time to bench, getting LN2 fill up, ect), and in the end people will still complain about it.
And then there is the stuff that ney and zeneffect bring up, which can be indistinguishable from sandbagging, which would be solved by time weighting scores...
I would like to think that we as a community could stop doing this if we all agreed, but that's not gona happen...

Looks like you got a tank for each gpu

Dat GT4 score

So far, the 'best' system I've seen that removes the benefits of hw/result sharing are all the team-based competitions (like Country Cup, Team Cup, ...) we've organised here at HWBOT.
That's debatable. Remember Greece's entry? same ram in each score. Stelaras even admits it. Yet it's tolerated

Another bump to see if these bugged drivers are going to be allowed...

Table was full, so doing vmod on DICE cooler... on the floor.

it would be better if I did not say anything?
No. Criticism is needed, and should be welcomed. If it is unwelcome, then the community is not a community anymore. If at the least, just to promote discussion.
And since you are from Russia, Pussy Riot anyone?

wow dude i cannot believe you have the time to do such things lol. that is awesome
Well, since they can now ban naked hiking in Switzerland, what else is he gona do?

No no..... other people are meant to post their stories of fail to make me feel better!!
Got done with a DICE bench session and didn't want the acetone to corrode the pot (AL/Cu mix), so grabbed it off the chip and dumped it in the toilet. I and most everyone else ususally disposes of liquids and other things in the toilet, so why not -80C acetone?
When the acetone hit the poo water, it was like a gyser of toilet water, DICE and freezing acetone, right in the face. Yeah...

Yeah... I have no idea what I'm doing
