  1. IIRC, inverters can cause instability for overclocked memory modules.
  2. A photo doesn't prove, yes. But it confirms two things - first the CPU does exist and it's not a CPU-Z bug. And second - the user does have this CPU. For example, a Pentium Pro 133MHz does exist but for some users that were caught before I'd rather believe they emulated it than that they have this rare ES. Same goes for Pentium 1 vs Pentium 1 Mobile (CPU-Z isn't able to tell them apart http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=404891 ). User may assume that he has a mobile part because it's installed in a notebook (so he isn't trying to fiddle with the rules). But a photo might show that he has a desktop part in a notebook and the category was chosen wrong. I'd help out more but for the last years I was stopped by staffs ignorance. Until Ney came to the team and things started again.
  3. And I'll do more THX guys. Very nice to have you around. All of you. Like I said to Christian before - the best way to validate that a result is in the right category for Pre-K8 AMD and Pre-370 Intel would be a photo. There's no way to verify a CPU 100% by software.
  4. These were non-reference mods pretty much like the stuff with 6600/6800 (128-bit 6800, 64-bit 6600 and so on).
  5. Like I said before - I've seen CPUs (and have a number of them) that do exists, are mentioned on hardware sites but are not listed on HWBot. But I've never seen a CPU that is presented on HWBot but not listed anywhere else in the Net. So c'mon and paint it black, Bruce
  6. Oh, I remember the first one having hardware even more "fun" than this Still have some of his masterpieces saved on my disk.
  7. Great news! You're one of those who still do their job, nice to look at the results.
  8. I agree with Karl. That seems to be the case. And I don't believe it's a bug because by default multiplier is set on default value, not an altered one. Blah-blah.O.K. so that's your point. How about this submission? http://hwbot.org/submission/2335220_gigioracing_ucbench_2011_pentium_2_200mhz_4.9_mpt_score It's a different CPU. Let me guess - a bug again and no plastic cover either?
  9. Hello! Please provide a photo of any of your two Pentium 2 200? A clear photo of the marking and its Sspec.

  11. That could be only your testbed.

  13. Ticket ID: 1608 Priority: Medium Hello!\r\n\r\nPlease add Celeron G1101 (LGA1156): \r\nhttp://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2575950
  14. I've looked at my old screenshots with Rev 2. They were perfectly simple or simply perfect. Can we get an old school skin or at least an old school signature template? With all those 8-bit gold/silver/bronze cups (unlike the blurry new ones). I could hardly fit a screenshot. 1600px width is too small.
  15. An overclocking and benchmark update? I'd like.
  16. Ticket ID: 1591 Priority: Medium http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2534109\r\n\r\nThank you in advance. AMD Z-01 default frequency is 1000MHz. In my validation, PowerNow is working. it's AMD C-50 low-power brother.
  17. This is a very old case. Carl used it a year ago: http://hwbot.org/submission/2197835_turrican_ucbench_2011_athlon_xp_1800_thoroughbred_60.9_mpt_score after he saw GENiEBEN using it. If you check the rankings: http://hwbot.org/benchmark/ucbench_2011/rankings?hardwareTypeId=processor_221#start=0#interval=20 you can see that it gives up to 30% performance. Same way as wPrime sometimes. What I usually don't get is why people start asking this long after the case appeared. Either everybody is slow to ask the crew before or they just know how slow the crew is so why bother? I remember the codec rule update for PCMark being added only after 1-2 years after I've asked. Pretty suspicious but such discussions mostly appear during Competitions and are rare for usual submissions.
  18. Which makes it even more interesting and fun to find
  19. There's no such component as "wordpad engine" in exact. You just didn't follow the idea of CherV. What she was trying to tell is that despite FMpad being a different exe file from wordpad, it does use the same engine - what's behind the .exe which is only a GUI. Pretty much like iexplore.exe is not the whole IE and not even the most part of it (surprise? ). But setting that are altered in Wordpad do change the wordpad backbone/engine settings meaning they do alter the settings at which FMpad runs the test. She gives you food. Don't make her picking up the fork pinching the food and put it in your mouth - at least make some efforts. Or we're gonna end whining until you get a "Tweak PCMark05" button? Didn't check the tweak yet - I don't use Win7 regularly so it's just my guess.
  20. Thanks for sharing, CherV! The most I've got through was finding reference of MS Sans Serif in FMpad.exe and deleting it from the OS. Now half OS goes with no text at my work. Might even not reboot so it's two weeks powered-up. Anyway I wanted to reinstall it.
