i think the difference is that the 852gm is in 100mhz fsb chipsets integrated and the 855gme in 133\166mhz. so the 855gme has more bandwidth.
i don't think the old super pi rounds up or down.
for example, if you have 14 sec in 1m it could be between 14.000 or 14.999.
i think it was always handeld that way to enter 999ms then.

just ignore the "amd" in the name. it's because one name has to be seleted when the 80386 category originally was made.
