@technikswd ask @Takukou
I sent him a message regarding this.
But I've never seen a Screen with an MSI Z490 Boards where Ram was overclocked with Ram Speed over 4300 1T with normal Voltage Settings ( i mean with 1.4 - 1.6 vDimm ).

You need to check what PCB do you guys have on the B-Die Dual Rank, you need B2 PCB (equal to A2) for benching with higher frequency above 4600 with 1T.
have you any proof Screen of your B-Die Dual Rank "with higher frequency above 4600 with 1T." as you have mentioned with MSI Z490 Unify Board ?

1t is fixed on ITX but not on ATX yet unfortunately.
with MSI Z490i Unify Boards 1t is fixed BUT only until 4133 (for 24/7 use), with normal ATX MSI Z490 Unify Boards 1T still IMPOSSIBLE ?
Toppc Lin (MSI) says he needs time to fix the problem.
I don't doubt he can do it though but how long it will take... that's a very good question ...

Not always, it seems to be kinda random.
without changing the settings?

@hansglans Hmmm... with your ASRock Timing Configurator Screen we can seen amount of installed Ram Module!
This is really interesting because it doesn't work by ANYONE other. Why does it worked with your Bios Settings?

@Takukou @sabishiihito Here is the 1t optimized bios for the Z490I Unify that I modified to remove ucode. Can y'all test if it works and scores properly?
can you make it for normal Unify ATX Board?
-
….."Now we need true 1T by having them set "Command Rate Support" to 0".....
what do you mean - "set "Command Rate Support"?
Where is that Option?

How did you contact Toppc Lin? I really hope they are working on this and I'd like to bring as much attention to it as possible.
his official youtube Channel : Toppc Lin (MSI) Youtube
I asked him directly in his video and he replied - "i will check this"
there in this Vid: "INTEL forced the new 12VO power architecture...."

…..1T is not happy on DR but usually not a realistic goal DR.....
1T ist NOT POSSIBLE actually at MSI Z490 Boards with Ram Speed above +3600 !, the Bios need a Fix for using 1T.

using 1T Command Rate is no possible at this moment with MSI Z490 ☹️
I sent a message to the "Toppc Lin" (MSI) about this and replied that he would look at this.

MSI Unify Board: Boot with 1T Command Rate is impossible above 3200 Ram Takt ?
Any Chance Using Ram Settings +4500 with 1T like Apex XII?

Hi guys,
thought to share the new bios for M11A that helps getting higher CL to work for memory frequency.
Before, with CL24 max limitation was 4933 on air.
New bios with the same stick and cpu can do 5300MHz easily.
EnjoyPlease the same for Gene XI ?

For me 0057 BIOS still the best for 24/7 use Ram overclocking with 1T till 4400MHz with very human IO /SA Voltage!
But for very high Ram Speeds like 4600+ (i would say - for Ram Benching only) with 2T is the 0021 Bios from Dancop really perfect.
-
@dumo
-Are your results in Screens 24/7 really suitable?
-With manual optimizations from skew, right?
-How high are your Dram, IO, SA Voltages?
-Did you also test your results with several cpu`s?
My questions relate to the following - the results I've posted above have been achieved on several Gene XI motherboards, 9900K, 8700K Samples(i have many more of that things) and memory Kits and the Setting ist 24/7 suitable, btw. for everyday System.
But as I said - it is ONLY possible with 0057 Bios !With ALL other Bios versions it was not, btw. it was than ONLY Bench Stable !, but not as a 24/7 setting suitable.
That's why I asked for 0057 Bios version for Apex XI Board, It would be very useful to have this BIOS code for Apex XI motherboard. -
There as example, 0057 Bios Version at my another Computer with another Gene XI Board Sample with another 9900K Cpu sample.
It worked very well at all Gene XI Boards and Cpu Samples with 0057 Bios Version!!!
Please look at the Time, it for 15 Min.
The Apex XI Board is not worser than Gene XI, I now it.
The Problem with 1T is only Bios Code self, it would be nice to have the same BIOS code for Apex XI Board.

You know boards are different hence different behaviour...
Yes i now, but ONLY with the 0057 Bios version on the Gene XI board is it without Problem possible.
with 1.48V Dram/1.275V IO /1.275V SA Voltage
And that's why I asked exactly for this version if possible to rewrite this Bios completed code for Apex XI Board.
I have tested ANY Bios Version for both Mainboards ( Gene XI and Apex XI), but as i say - it is only with 0057 Bios possible.
-
I'm sorry to report but version 0050 bios is worse than 0057 ?
With 0050 Bios Version it is impossible to use 4400 1T as it was possible in 0057 Bios Version.
Could you try to replicate the complete/full code from 0057 Version for Apex XI. -
You are great Alex, many Thanks! ?
I will try it after Work ( ~4 Hours left) and tell you for Results.
-
Please make 0057 Bios for Apex XI Board, it best Bios Version of all for Memory overclocking with 1T ?

Max RTT_WR [ODT Off]
Firmware Configuration [Test]
Type C Support [Platform-POR]
Boot Sector (MBR/GPT) Recovery Policy [Local user control]

MSI Z490 XOC BIOS/Tools
in Comet Lake (Z490) & Rocket Lake (Z590) OC

This is currently not possible, and it is NOT the fault of the RAM modules Layout but the BIOS code itself!
Maximal Ram Speed with newest Beta Bios is 4266 ( i mean with 1T Command Rate ) ☹️
Toppc Lin (MSI) has already released three beta bios versions but the problem with 1T command rate was only been partially resolved so far.
