Yeah, my money is with intel. I just can't see vega being 4c king. Same with vega, might be promoted as competitor to 1080 but what happens when Ti comes out. Interesting times either way, especially if dx12 starts to mature and devs start coding for more than 4c.
-
Fingers crossed, be about time for both Intel and nv.

Already spoken, he's looking for give-away price.

I know. I delidded it.

Incredible. That chip needed 1.25v llc6 for 5g r15 on hero alpha. Non avx (26.6) 5.1 was 1.344v llc6. Not quite sure how it's so low on m8e....n1.

x1 gtx 680 lightning block prov sold.

These are going into a daily but I'll still run em hard.

Yeah, won't be binning. Oddly the 4kc18is priced higher than 4266c19. Wondering if the 4k was a harder bin due to slightly lower vdimm that the 4266s.

Away to buy some of the new g.skill rgb stuff. What kits did you guys find best with the stock heatspreaders? Undecided whether to just grab a pair of 3200cl14/3600cl16 or go for 4kcl18/4266cl19

My 2 sticks of 3600 will run 4k12. Shout if interested, won't be available until the 31st though. (Away with work)

Really nice cache! Strong! I can't even boot 49 cache on those volts. (Not that I'm bothered for gaming!)
-
Nice nacht. Congrats. What points you using to take vcore off the hero?
-
60mV on vcore?
Well, while it has impact on VID, it does not affect finding lowest vcore for the test? Personally I used lowest vcore at LLC 7 on ASUS while testing my chip, board is listed in my post too anyway.
Ofc it does. 1.25v on mocf could be 1.3v on hero making any r15 @1.25v 1.35v etc irrelevant without posting which board. In the real world that could be the difference between 5.2 chip and a 5.3 chip on ambient.
Not just for batch thread info, but for sellers / buyers of used chips I'd say that's quite important to know.
For example, I've got a chip here that's .050v difference between mocf and asus around 1.3v.
-
With up to 60mv difference between the boards it's relevant.
-
Can you guys post which board used as these figures are meaningless without. I.e, asus 8, ocf, mocf....and ofc apex when released!

Looking for on behalf of someone...
2 8gb sticks of extremely average poor oc ddr4 for a daily rig.
Bad binning rejects more than welcome. The cheaper the better.
