Looks okay to mee "Team Hardware Masters" Ranking is a good solution to "compensate" the new rule to let only the best submission count! Okay so i can somehow understand that step It's kinda sad that there are so much cheaters making this necessary...

Not all but a lot! Let only the best submission count prevents 10% of hardware-sharing. Come on... We all dislike hwsharing but for this price? No! Atm every member can take part of the team. Just by uploading new scores! The rev4. will kick the Teams with the "pros" on top because they got al the #1 scores. Team Pure has 27 Members and they are ranked 4th! So there is also atm a way to be on top without having 500 Members. Just no need to change that! For me its fun to see my team go higher and higher. I don't just bench for myself. Its for the team!

Yea lol i've just accepted rev3 and members of our team hunt ebay for 8800s to gather points and now that hard work and money is lost with rev4.

Would really appreciate this solution! Bit still there should be a vote. Just to show the direction how the communitiy wants it! 100% agreed on this 2 Points! A forum for Team-Captains only would make such things much easier - especially for the staff.

Seriously Massman - the great community is what gives hwbot such a success. Without 26.000 members there wouldn't be any support of MSI and so on. So such big changes should not be taken only by the staff. For sure you guys launched hwbot and provided us a space for international overclocking competition - and we're all thankfull for that!!! So there has to be something like a poll to give the community the chance to dicide how they like HWBot. HWBot is nothing without the community and there wouldn't be a community without HWBot So that's a decision which should be taken together. Otherwise it kinda feels like a dictatorship - and that's definitely not the way i learned to like hwbot. edit: That's exactly the point! You can just eliminate a small part of Hardware-sharing with that. So that's not the right way!

Needs more population then. Push it often at the Homepage of hwbot and i'm sure there will be more ppl participating.

Thanks! @ Vote thing: Yea but it shows a direction how the hwbot community would like hwbot. It takes 2mins of time to create a poll. So why not? You're right - it's a way to solve hardware sharing. But it only avoids sharing for Teams-Total and not the personal score. It just prevents a part of hardware sharing for a very high price. I doubt that there is such a huge amount of ppl sharing hardware for Teams-Total. We've got 26000 members in here and i think only few of them are sharing hardware. But this solution will affect everyone and a lot of them in a bad way. The price for this small victory is just to high. We all want to have less cheat accusations but this is a wrong way.

Come on Massman The way you answer just looks to me like "HWBOT Rev.4 - The Plan" is more like "HBOT Rev.4 - FINAL, non discussable"... This is really disappointing to me. What about a big vote where the community has the choice of the different aspects of rev4? Like: - I like a split of the cooling Methods - I don't like a split of the cooling Methods - I like that only the best submission counts to Team-Total - I don't like that only the best submission counts to Team-Total . . . Would be great.

+1 It took some time and i learned to like rev.3. And now i really like it!!! Please don't change it.

A member of my team just wrote: "With this rule Turrican can start his own team and it will take the lead" For sure you want to avoid hardware sharing but this is not the right way. Only the big overclockers can push their team than. I think this will be realy disappointing for the "small" overclockers.
