  1. // not confirmed //

We may have found a good venue in Singapore in early Q4. Would that be something that suits the Australian overclockers who want to participate? The reason I'm asking is because the flight costs with Flyscoot seem quite alright from Australia:

    • Adelaide: ~ AUD $750 return
    • Brisbane: ~ AUD $800 return
    • Melbourne: ~ AUD $430 return
    • Perth: ~ AUD $370 return
    • Sydney: ~ AUD $480 return

I know it's not exactly the same like going to Australia, but apart from Adelaide and Brisbane I guess the travel is bearable? Any feedback would be much appreciated :)

Can you give us a rough idea on area, so we can look at Hotel prices as well? I'm certainly keen and I'm sure a couple of others are as well. Just need to figure out complete costs.

How many days do these things normally go for?

  2. Sorry, did not see the post your post, Garon. No LN2 board, general competition rules are applying, no es and no unreleased hardware. Too bad that Gigabyte decided to not release the LN2 version

P.S. to clarify this when I am already at it, no MOCF as well as Asrock fails on release for years now :D - it is not available retail at comp start as well, so it is out

    Thanks Michael. Clears it up.

I'd use my OCF but it crapped a dimm slot the second time I used it on air. Right after I prepped it for cold. FML. So SOC-FORCE it is.

  3. Noticed this one the last couple of days.

If I go to any competition on OC-Esports when I click on the stages it isn't showing any info just reloads the front page for the competition that I'm looking at.

Hope that makes sense. For example, If I go to Challenger Div 1. Then click on Stage 2 it just reloads the Division main page. I can't see what stage even is.

    Anyone else getting this?

  4. Multi gpu likely won't scale at all with the low 4.5GHz cpu speed so you might as well declare single GPU only. :celebration:

Yeah, I tried re-naming the thread the same as the others, it will need a mod to do it though.

I believe you are correct though mate, the scaling won't really be too effective.

  5. So here is the 3DMark06 Single(X1) GPU LLC/Efficiency Thread.

    Submissions must be to existing HWBOT rules found here ;

    http://hwbot.org/news/884_application_12_rules/

CPU Freq Cap - 4.5Ghz(one step above and below)

CPU Uncore Freq Cap - 4.5Ghz(one step above and below)

No cap on GPU Freq/Memory/Shaders. Be sure to include in your post what Cooling you have used.

Submissions in thread without GPU cooling specified will not be added to leaderboard

I'll maintain a leaderboard based on GPU families in the next post. Make it a bit easier to find what you are competing against.

    Remember to have fun!!!

  8. I will endeavour to put up the rest off the 4.5 efficiency threads up tomorrow. My thoughts are 01, 05 and 06 as well as the 03 one.

Something for everyone else to chime in on. Should they be single GPU only?

Also if you want another benchmark post it here and if enough interest I will do one also.
