That's great advice thanks!

CPU-Z 1.67 launched on the 12th of October so after the start of the contest.
I would say it's not a problem.
In addition the score is validated on HWBOT, the purpose of the screenshot is to make sure Kingston/HyperX memory is used and the score as been done for this contest.

I was on a plane during the grand finale, missed all the fun!
Congrats everyone, some truely great scores!
-
Micro USB, I have a lot more devices using it.
-
Nice one!
It shows why 2666 MFR kits should be banned from HOT qual. this time.
-
I'm up for 2x once you've restocked.
-
That's a nice collection!
Looking forward the scores

These are KVR16N11S8/4 so 1600MHz C11 1.5V 4GB modules with Hynix MFR on.
-
Yeah looking into that...

I think the rules are pretty clear:
Concerning Prohibition of Specific Memory SKUsDDR3-2544, DDR3-2800 and DDR3-2666 MFR based HyperX memory modules are not allowed as they are not commercially available products. In the case DDR3-2666 MFR based HyperX memory modules become commercially available during the course of the competition, they would still not be allowed to avoid any unfair advantage.

Ahah Sam always the eye for details.
Yes it is probably too much, never tried these 4 modules together and i didn't want to worry about that.
I still have 7 cpus from this batch to go through so i will see if i was lucky with the first one.

Ahah Sam, maybe I should go through the pile of 2800 CFR I still have
-
You will most likely not find the Samsung based kit in stock anymore: they were release about a year ago.
All the 2666 C11 in stock now will very certainly be MFR.
The 2666 MFR kits should be available worldwide but because it launched so recently (Splave you really must have one of the first retail one) ocers from other region may not find them in stock before the end of the contest.
It's tough to try to keep it fair for everyone!
-
Be honest, surprised ?
Too surprised!! ahah
-
Nice one Vivi!
-
These are MFR based you are right but not retail yet so no reason to allow them.

CFR 2v+
cooooold
Workouts are great bro. Its my diet that needed help haha!
I know a couple people have 2400c11 with single sided mfr not sure if it was just the review samples that have this or some retails as well. Just wanted to make sure.
Mmmh went through all our 2400 modules and can't see any 4GB (so single sided) modules with MFR.
If you have a picture of the modules I would be interested.

wooow splave insane!!!
@Massman or marmott,
how does hardware sharing work? can we share all except CPU?
EDIT: I see memory cant be shared, can we share separate sticks if we show images? from a 4x4gb set?
Cool
As long as the same modules are not used by 2 person I'm fine with splitting the kits.

Yes travel and hotel is covered.
It's the top 5 overall that is picked for the final (so 5 ocers total).
-
Ahah, don't forget to print PSU cables!
