Where's the LN2 score Alva ?
This is with my last 2 liters(only got -70 C) http://hwbot.org/submission/2531958, not too good
My yesterday's benching session failed completely, have soo many troubleshooting from morning to evening - that's what I get for trying to do everything in the last elimination day I guess (x_x)

Whoa, the number of overclockers attending Computex this year is getting more and more epic!
Should we wear some specialized nametag with our hwbot nickname on it so we recognize everyone from the Bot? Haha
-
Top 6 will be selected, so based on the CPU quality on the Kingston H.O.T Qualifier, I'll predict these 6 overclockers have good chance of entering the live finals:
- Vivi
- 8pack
- XA
- John Lam
- Splave
- DFORDOG
Also Dancop, and TeamAU boys might have a good run for fire strike with their 780 Ti
Anyway, would be really interesting competition to watch, Good Luck guys!

You got new VRM firmware?
After my 1st card died, I sent mine to MSI HQ and they sent it to me again, and said it's equipped with new vrm firmware.

@ Nacho:
Thanks
The card maxxed out already I think, I spent another 30L running it at 1720Mhz but it always crashed(or ocp'd) at the damn Raymarch test. The real GPU Voltage was 1.447V - 1.45V under load. Higher than 1.45V will give it OVP/OCP.
@ Splave:
Not just your limit Allen, looked like everyone who got the updated VRM firmware for Lightning have disturbingly similar limit. Rock stable at 1600-1700 @ 1.45V, and then hit a 'wall' and won't reach above 1700Mhz GPU(OVP/OCP when trying higher voltage).
-
I'm giving it 1.37V @ -100 C, I got the OVP/OVP at exactly 1.48V, but even 1.45V won't help me reach the 1700Mhz. I Need to try harder

Alright boys, we're looking in to doing something as well. We = HWBOT.
Make sure to stay for a bit after
How long should we stay after man? about 3 - 4 days after computex enough? More than that and I'll have to apply for special permission from my office
-
Whoa, MOA 2014 already. time flies so fast
What would be the hardware restrictions I wonder? No new cpu,but we can expect the refreshed motherboard with new chipset(z97?)...also would be a very interesting finals if they used X79 + DDR4
-
Woah that card is Stroooooooong!!! Keep pushin' it bro
:)
-
@Noms and Flank3r : yes, i have already benched several 3d benchmark...
will submit all of it as soon as possible...
FYI, i already tried in more than 1 CPU and all of it has coldbug TT
-
Computex? Definitely going
Not sure if there's any OC show/competition/demos planned at this date yet though..
-
thx
hope there will be old school benchmarks like good old 3DM 01, 03 and older, too Ö_Ö
there haven´t been a aquamark 2.1 for a long time
http://hwbot.org/benchmark/aquamark_v2.1/rankings?cores=1#start=0#interval=20
Something like 3DMark2000 on S3 Savage 4, TNT/TNT2's, and Voodoo 3 2000/3000? Hahah
Now that'll bring back junior high school memories..
-
You're right, my memory about those hardwares are a bit hazy. The 300A's use mendocino cores is it?
-
Team Cup is coming!
Request some stage for Celeron Deschutes and Katmai Pentium III Slot 1s? Just find some in my old warehouse
:D
-
Yep, congrats Michal for winning Kingston HOT! :ws:
Not a bad way to start an overclocking year mate
-
Whoa, If XA won the Pi 32M Stage, he would be Champion already. Others probably won't catch up with such differences in points
-
OMG DAT CHIP :ws: :ws:
Keep pushing that killer cpu man!
-
*phew* It's Over!
Congrats for Australia! Only 1st time doing it seriously and yet you guys still finish strong enough to get the 1st position with quite large margin on the scores - EPIC!
Also congratulation for the other countries for the impressive submissions as well: Germany, US, France, and Belgium.
It's been fun pushing it with you guys in this years' Country Cup, see you later in the next OC Competition
;)
Keep pushing it!

-
We're done. Totally epic fail CPU won't budge over 5.62Ghz
:(, no matter what settings you pushed into it. Already submitted the 38039 which is our final score for stage 1, now awaiting all the other backup score
See you guys later when it's over
-
Hey guys,
Someone just mailed me to say there is a difference between the stage end time and the cup end time. The cup was originally supposed to end on the 27th noon GMT (24h from now), but the Cup was configured to the 28th (48h). I've re-aligned the stage and Cup to the 28th. So you might have an extra 24 hours to get the score.
Sorry for the inconvenience - hope it didn't ruin anyone's sandbag plans.
Oh Thank God. The LN2 is coming a bit late so I was worried. It's okay now, can sleep for today
-
Not urs. GunGod reported a ton of submissions including one of me and also dino. So it affected the ranking quite a lot. We have to discuss this first internally tho.
Ah, I see. Waiting for the HWBOT ruling on this matter then.
Cheers bud
-
EDIT: I just looked at the ranking, Germay is on top again
I'm looking at the same thing, some of the submission on the cloud gate stage is removed I guess?
*oh my, this is bad x_x*
