Geforce 8400 GS G86 128/256/512
Categories only should be layed together if there is no difference in performence. And I'm not sure, if they have comparable performence. 128MB of the 8400GS seem to limit the performence. Isn't this why these seperations were made?

My hardware is at its limits. I do not have the opportunity to bench with DICE or LN2. But thats mostly needed to get some points. The LN2 and DICE benchers get their points and the others get 0.1. points. Of course thats more or less general. There are also some categories where it's not like that.

It is no problem that popular hardware gets more points. But non-popular hardware does not need to get less points. I would not mind if they get same points as in Rev2. Edit: You do not seem to understand that there is no more motivation for the little bencher to go to his own limits if he is only about to get 0.1 points. Why should I improve the scores of my little Radeon cards to jump from #20 to #11. I will still get 0.1 points.

Then do 2,5 / 1,5 / 1,3 / 1,1 / 0,9 / ... Whats kind of unfair is, that only few people get noticable points. #1, #2, #3, #4 get points and the rest gets like nothing. The gap is too big, that's the point. Edit: It's not like that I do not respect the effort and work that you've put into Rev3. I only want to improve it so that as many people are satisfied as possible.

You are absolutely right! In Rev3 you still need skill, time and money. But in many categories you simply don't get the points like many said before. Just because there are only 30 competitors that doesn't mean that it is easy to reach top10. But mostly you don't even get points for being #10. 0,1 points is like nothig for tweaking and benching old hardware, doesn't matter if it's popular or not.

Maybe how points are given right now can be optimized. The gap between 0,1 and 75 points is way too big. Additionally in some categories the first three people get e.g. 5,2 / 3,3 / 2,2 points and all the rest gets 0,1. How about 5,2 / 4,7 / 4,1 / 3,5 / 2,8 / 2,0 / ... know that I mean? I really don't like that benchers of old and maybe unpopular hardware are treated so disadvanteged now. With a not much benched Radeon X8xx there can also be skill needed to beet the other X8xx benchers. It's not like there is no competition.
