  1. That would be a good submission, the mmx versions were socket7 not socket 5. Plus the cpu spec. is correct.

I believe the p1 non mmx'z fastest was 200mhz and the score is not impossible on the aladdin.

I think it's more cpu-z can't read the clocks of the aladdin chipset, still it's a very doable run.

i mean i thought part of joining a team was to be a team, anotherwards help eachother out?

if someone else is using there own skill to bench hardware i dont see why they have to own it to bench it...

there are alot of us who are regular guys and love benching but cant afford top hardware.

so if we have someone nice/generous enough to let us borrow hardware to bench?? why would it not be allowed...

Because allowing that kind of "activity" would make it legal for any team with a golden CPU (or GPU) to pass it around to all team members so they can bench it and get top scores, too. Which is CLEARLY unfair to the other teams.

I think that covers it best, one golden part scores once, not once for every member of the team.

I THINK anything except CPUs (for 2d benches) and GPUs (for 3d benches) are allowed to be borrowed. That's enough IMO

Then allowing it to be shared for opposing type benches is about the fairest way it could be done, it's not perfect but a reasonable solution.

  3. It's cpu-z that does that koma, It seems to set the chip type of a clock range for some amd's (maybe all but i can't say for sure) and their may be differences in whatever they have biased the ranges on from version to version.

I don't see any unlock done on the chip but it can also be done under the chip or at socket level.

Might be best if you compared core names and stepping windows. ;)

  4. I don't at this time but I can take some, it's pretty plain except the ram sinks.

And koma is right it took weeks benching and testing it on different setups. It goes high but it doesn't scale well with the cpu still don't understand that.

Anyway thanks guys. I'll get a pic up for you and she still can be coaxed to go a bit higher. ;)

  5. it's not that, 3DMark can be run correctly without nature if it is not supported, check the other 7200 scores.

@Cannon: check the Z-buffer settings; make sure everything is default; in your screenshot

right under the scores there is the beginning of "The ben..chmark was not run using default settings"

    OK thanks!

    I know where to look.

I may have set that locked off with powerstrip or ati ... ;)
