TerraRaptor Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 So far I'm not able to fix bad 3D performance in XP (actually I have tried both XP32 SP3 x86, 2003 x64) - the difference between XP and Win7 is noticable even with old 7600GT where Win7 is faster in each and every benchmak, also the same applies to GTX980. I should be able to check 6950x2 in next few days in XP and compare the results with Win7 but so far i think that bad performance is caused by missing "good" drivers in XP for PCIE bridges and missing drivers for interrupts controller (problem with bus priorities etc). Although performance with 2D in XP is good here so that is something wrong with chipset drivers and XP+HaswellE needs workaround imho.
