Insane RAM timings! Stage 4 - LGA775 SPi32M

Hey guys,

I wanted to clear this with you before I submit my results. I've been putting a lot off work into getting the best possible times and I figured I'd just go for raw speeds and tight timings. I've had a lot of help from K404 with regards to Windows tweaking and how to use waza etc. so thanks for that, Kenny! :)

Now, for the result. I've got the picture of the run, obviously... and I've also made a short one minute video on how I got there. I haven't included a vid of SPi32M running as that would take forever to upload although it can be done if need be...

Here is the image itself:

Here is a direct link to the video:

Apologies for the poor quality and the vid being on its side, it still gets the point across... right?

Cheers,

TheMadDutchDude.

EDIT: I thought the vid was on it's side, turns out it isn't once it had been uploaded.

What's your Vdimm?

Which strap are you using?

:)

Just under 2.4v on the vDIMM and I'm on the 400 strap.

Result is valid.

Many thanks, Clare! :)

Yes it is!

I already thought you were on the 400 strap... The 3:5 divider is broken on this strap, it's 2:3 in reality and your memory is at 923MHz. ;)

This is the real 2:3 divider, isn't it?

What is set up in the bios?

922Mhz 6-5-5-15 is absolutely posible with good D9GTR or just vDimm :)

EDIT: Hey Daniel, you are too fast :D

How would I go about validating it then? I figured the strap was messed but I don't know how to go about it.

Why do you need to validate the result? It's just a missreading ram clock divider by cpu-z...

Are there any restrictions in term of minimum ram clock? ;)

Why would you need any special validation? Your score is doable at those clocks and it's a known fact that the 3:5 divider is broken on the 400 strap.

If you want try to rerun on a "real" 2:3 divider.

EDIT: Hey Daniel, you are too fast :D

Are you stalking me? :P:D

Edit: Damn. me = too slow. ^^
