Insane_Tech Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Hi steponz, nice result, too bad the cpu died May I ask you a question: you're saying "going for 58 multi"... wasn't the limit for the 2600k cpus at 57x multi? There are higher multipliers? Tnx Quote
diezel Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 higher multipliers 58 multi ? whats the max mp for 2600k Quote
steponz Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 The chip is only good for one core now, I wish somebody told me about the 57 limit Geesh....I thought it was 60... I have another of the same batch to test out in the next day or two. Quote
Linuxfan Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Interesting. Seriously you tried 1.75vcore on air with the 32nm chip? I feel sorry for thie chip. Maybe on the next one you can try subzero for that much vcore and you'll get another lucky chip. Quote
steponz Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 The chip is still alive can do 5.7 easily on air, I have another of the same batch... I wasn't loading the chip at all and my ss stopped working right as I began testing... It only works with single core, otherwise it will just blue screen even at stock clocks... Still good for 32m , potash and 1m, the other results posts are with this chip.... Quote
HITandRUN Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Nice going step! Are you killing stuff again? Quote
steponz Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 Of Course.. when did I stop... lol.. I only killed cores this time.. chip is still alive.... Quote
