I see subs with Gen 7 A-series processors. 

These are a violation of the stated restrictions.

That means the hardware restrictions aren't working for this stage.

You might laugh but A6=9500 for example is 15gen4 and listed as Bulldozer family member at cpu world, and at hwbot excavator(A-series 15gen4), gen7 a only refers to apu status...  the restrictions are working correctly.

So what you're saying is that the 15gen7 that AMD itself uses only refers to the graphics part of the chip?

That's stupid.

To me,  APU refers to the type of chip, being desktop processor with on chip graphics.

I did not know we separate out the processor part and graphics part into 2 different familys.

It is weird, and the fact hwbot put an am4 chip ay 15 gen 4 is quite discussable, but when I made the limits I had to live with what I find. Might be OK or not, but it is like it is...
