April 16, 200916 yr We all know they are the same card and nV just reflashed the name ID. If we did the same, can we submit results for both categories from one card? My gut feeling is"no" but because its an nV oddity...... may as well ask.
April 16, 200916 yr Author Well im screwed now coz I essentially just admitted to it in advance (unless its made clear that this in unacceptable, in which case I will not do it. 9800GT and 8800GT is just the same...as well as some of the 6800 series but those are different stories. I have a 9800GT here thats 65nm and A2 silicon. I got "screwed" on the package. Clockspeeds will probably be about the same...so so will my scores. Why cant ATI and nV make things more clear cut?
