Dragon Oc Team Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 ready to bench, but we think allowing liquid elium is not so good someone who has access to liquid elium will dominate the competiotion Quote
Warrior_oF_Byte Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 so to answer your question, the stage will end before the next one starts ;-) Thanks jmke! Really you can understand very well my bad English! hehe. Massman it's a good idea a timer! Quote
Dragon Oc Team Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 let's wait a week and see if Liquid Helium will dominate shall we ;-) mine is not a real complain i don't know how to say in english but in italian''l'importante è partecipare'' Quote
Massman Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 Ah, the olympic spirit I don't think we'll see that much Liquid Helium. To be honest, if you manage to get liquid helium in one week time, you deserve the win Quote
Dragon Oc Team Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 you're right we have asked for liquid elium and the bill is about 5000€ for 5h benching, and we have to wait a month to get it Quote
knopflerbruce Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I think liquid helium is accessible to those who have enough money, it's not like you need a special deal of some kind... right? Quote
Massman Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 It's not as easy as getting LN2, Knopflerbruce . Quote
Linuxfan Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see if my Q9650 can do anything, we'll see! May the best tweaker win! Quote
Massman Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 http://hwbot.org/competition/country_cup_2009?tab=discuss Holy Mozes ... a lot of references here! Quote
Dragon Oc Team Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 ok we have an old q6700, so we are in:) Quote
andreivc Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 04/11 - PDT, GMT...? What is the official time zone for submissions? Quote

Darkasantion Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Question, submitted the result of an old run of mine with my Q9550, yet I can't validate the checksum at XS and if I enter my checksum here it says it's invalid Even though that I do have a valid score. How can I fix that? Quote
Massman Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 Question, submitted the result of an old run of mine with my Q9550 //sorry. Quote
Linuxfan Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Question, submitted the result of an old run of mine with my Q9550, yet I can't validate the checksum at XS and if I enter my checksum here it says it's invalid Even though that I do have a valid score. How can I fix that? I think the checksum has been broken... Quote
Darkasantion Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I think the checksum has been broken... How do you mean broken? As in my checksum not beeing valid, or something else? Quote
Massman Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 To clarify: using old scores is not prohibited as long as the stage limitations don't explicitly say so. In other words; for some stages you can, for some stages you can't . However, if you really want to win something, you'll have to push the hardware again . Quote
Darkasantion Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Aah, thanks for clearing that up! Well still wanna brake 4Ghz with Pi, so this is a good motivation to try it Quote
Linuxfan Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 However, if you really want to win something, you'll have to push the hardware again . Will definitely be pushing the CPU more if I can.... Quote
