Chiller Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 i contacted Massman about a problem with Wprime32m, but no answer so far. there are a lot of people that are lost big global points with a problem with Wprime32m, only there,, when you look at the score , 40points, but when you open the details down, then 40points disappear and gives 10points, strange no? normal points : http://i50.tinypic.com/91fpxj.jpg details with lost points : http://i48.tinypic.com/2ecm26c.jpg and when i look at the top20 of Wprime, there are many more people who has this problem. And for me, 6 global points for 24th place is a little low no? lol hahahaha Here from other member nr1 WR Wprime32m : normal score in list : http://i45.tinypic.com/24domer.jpg Score with details with many points lost : http://i46.tinypic.com/1fdc0l.jpg And there are many more members who lost many points with this problem. Can this be fixed or is it with a reason ? thanks in advance for answer Quote
Crew Turrican Posted December 17, 2009 Crew Posted December 17, 2009 i also noticed that. seem to be a "server hickup". Quote
Chiller Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 server hickup all day ? seems strange for a hickup, because server draws the points also from your total points of your profile. You see the screenshots i put there ? strange..........only Wprime32m affected on not other benchmarks this is the craziest thing i ever saw on hwbot lol. Maybe a server restart would help? Quote
Massman Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Restarting doesn't fix the issue; the server is crashing and losing data, which is why points are lost. There's a reason why a new server was purchased Quote
Chiller Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 with the new server it is corrected then again??? Heil to the new server !!!!!!!!!! Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Hasn't Dell screwed up the delivery twice now? Quote
Chiller Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 The hickup causes data corruption, which I need to fix manually. would you be so kind ?? then i would do a donation to hwbot, Richabastard, can you send me data for that please ? Hasn't Dell screwed up the delivery twice now? bad service ??? Quote
Chiller Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 yes thanks, i saw it this morning. i keep you posted iff i see probs with hwbot, is handy because i am everyday on hwbot multiple times, a lot online. thanks for fixing it so fast Quote
knopflerbruce Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Yes, but we can not afford better. Try to build a 1U rack server, dual i5/7 socket, dual PSU, 8x DDR3 and 4 hot swappable 2.5" SAS/SATA bays for less than 3000 euro. You won't have much luck. @Chiller: everything should be fixed already. If you encounter errors, please point them to me. Perhaps you can ask for some kind of compensation. This isn't normal at all... Quote
Chiller Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 what isn't normal at all ? compensation for what ?? Quote
