Moose83 Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I have an problem with this Board. When i overclock Core 2 with this board, everything works fine, Voltage can be set to over 2V... But i now have many P4 CPUs here, and if i use any P4/Celeron CPU, i only can set max 1,4V in Bios. Trying to get higher in Windows dont work. Seems, that my board sets there an limit, if 90nm CPU is detected How can i fix this, maybee someone had an working Voltmod for me, because 1,4V isnt enough for me;) Quote
Moose83 Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 Tryed with vid mod on CPU, dont work too, same issue: ( Quote

dhenzjhen Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 same prob with my p45 ud3p that's I got me a p5e3 premium so can rape celerons Quote
K404 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I think it would be really hard to have a voltmod that had to be tuned within a range of 0.6v. You would need switches and multiple resistors to get any accuracy. I mean..... if you used a single resistor, by the time you tuned to high volts, it would be so sensitive you could probably change the voltage by blowing on it :p Quote
Moose83 Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Voltmod was no Problem...But when i reach 1,5V, than OVP kickt in:( Think i will buy an other Board... Quote
Moose83 Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 I only wqant to buy Gigabyte... http://www.gigabyte.de/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2453&dl=1#ov Its P965 Chipset, are there issuses with P4 or can i give there the Voltage, the CPU wants:) Quote

Moose83 Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Yes, not avaiable... But not all P4/Celeron CPUs run on this Board... Quote
