Moose83 Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I have an Problem but think its not the Mainboard. All CPUs work fine with this board but when i clock my 960T, sometimes short after OS entry or after a while benching my Monitor turns off mouse loose Power and on the Mainboard i get code 88. The same Code appearce when i forgot to plug the 12V to the Mainboard. What is it can someone please help me with that issue? BIOS is up to date:) It only happens after passing 4800MHz but only with 960T. Had UD3 before and there no issue??? I dont unterstand that Quote
Massman Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Did you set loadline to 'extreme'? Try 'very high'. Quote
Moose83 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 No i did not change loadline i leave it at default. Vcore is 1,62V i use with 960T;) Should i try to change the loadline? Quote
Bobnova Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Yeah, the higher the vcore the higher AUTO sets the loadline, at least on the UD5. Quote
Moose83 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Ok but why i can leave the Standard for all other CPUs? All work only 960T makes Problems? i do not unterstand this What is differned on that 960T? Quote
Moose83 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 (edited) Many thanks Mr. Massman!!! Seems like it works now, many thanks! Now 1,7V with fixed loadline and everything works fine:) So seems like UD3 has an different Loadline Management Edited November 21, 2012 by Moose83 Quote
Massman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Cool! What BIOS are you on, by the way? Quote
Moose83 Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 F10 BIOS;) Tested yesterday and never get that Code 88 issue again:) Quote
Massman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 That's the latest one? The UD7 is EOL, so I'm not sure if there will be a new BIOS that fixes the issue. Anyway, good to hear you have no longer issues Quote
Moose83 Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Yes F10 BIOS is the latest one. Support for FX-8350 comes with it. Yeah everything works fine now Quote
