Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 Code 88 issue

I have an Problem but think its not the Mainboard.

All CPUs work fine with this board but when i clock my 960T, sometimes short after OS entry or after a while benching my Monitor turns off mouse loose Power and on the Mainboard i get code 88.

The same Code appearce when i forgot to plug the 12V to the Mainboard.

What is it can someone please help me with that issue? BIOS is up to date:)

 

It only happens after passing 4800MHz but only with 960T. Had UD3 before and there no issue??? I dont unterstand that

Did you set loadline to 'extreme'? Try 'very high'.

No i did not change loadline i leave it at default. Vcore is 1,62V i use with 960T;)

Should i try to change the loadline?

Yeah, the higher the vcore the higher AUTO sets the loadline, at least on the UD5.

Fix it to something not "extreme".

Ok but why i can leave the Standard for all other CPUs? All work only 960T makes Problems?

Now 1,7V with fixed loadline and everything works fine:)

 

So seems like UD3 has an different Loadline Management

F10 BIOS;)

Tested yesterday and never get that Code 88 issue again:)

That's the latest one?

 

The UD7 is EOL, so I'm not sure if there will be a new BIOS that fixes the issue. Anyway, good to hear you have no longer issues

Yes F10 BIOS is the latest one. Support for FX-8350 comes with it.
