Awesome stuff TD

Nice and frosty pics, very good score as well.

indeed, transparent windows is crazy high

It just seems like it's a money concern. It's not fair for people to run 4x gpu an get a lot of boints because I can't afford one. But it is fair for a person to buy a $500 gpu and spends thousands on finding or buying a high clocking cpu. Yet there are those who cannot even afford a $500 gpu and only can afford to try their luck once with a cpu.
It sounds like people are trying to have rules changed in order to cater to their specific needs.

There's no "overall" ranking for the HOC at the moment. They're all stand-alone competitions.
However: http://hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?t=37345.
Mid 2012, we're changing to a more structured version of hwbot competitions. Team competitions in the style of the Country Cup and HOC, with start and end date. Seasons if you will .
A season, great idea. How on earth do you come up with such brilliant ideas

sick scores lately,
-
Very nice score, great work.

as others said you can wait other brands, no one forcing you to buy Asus, it's normal marketing world, you want EASY XE oc ? buy my product (easy for who has money and want XE oc )
PS: that's why Hipro5 don't OVclock anymore? he has money but no more fun for him i think...
buy a matrix/lightning or WTH they call it (all shifts by asus/gbt/msi marketing) if you have 2k dollars money for the new VGA buy them X 5 and go to -180 run the EASY SW tools(easy huh ? use your mouse and go higher ) run the benchmark and say WOW i am in top 5 HAF
stilö love the P5K vanilla time (7 mods), the only time i enjoyed OC P35 with a lot of tweaks and fun....
If that was towards me, it was a joke, hence the smiley. You may not like the ease of use, but atleast vendors are catering to the extreme segment by adding these features into their hardware. This VGA comes with solder spots to get it working with features that they have implemented on their top of the line motherboard.

Looks good, but asus is forcing us to buy R4E

Thanks Steve, I've been needing a red card for a while. Too bad this one isn't working too well. You should some of these other screen shots with black dots, random colors everywhere, etc. I might have a defective card or it's just defective amd drivers
-
Thanks, gotta make up for the lack of storage with raw power
-
I don't see the point. So what, you go down in the rankings for a few weeks until you get one of your own. Then once you start submitting you go back up where you were. It's not going to kill anyone to loose a few spots.

I'm just starting to get into this bench and i don't want to see it go. The xp startup cap is part of the challenge to get a good score and it's really not all that difficult to slow it down enough to be under 220. It may defeat the purpose of the bench, but having it there add a little bit of fine tuning. It also doesn't make older scores completely obsolete.
Now what christian has done, by making a thread and exposing some of the tweaks to improve scores is a great idea. If everyone is aware of most of the tweaks, then the bench in theory should once again be based on storage setup and clocks. There are those who still want to tinker and find new tweaks and there will be those who try to get away with cheating, but cheaters will always be cheaters.

No. X2 555 only for dual core category.
you might as well start removing them then
-
Interesting indeed and I'm the one who didn't realize that the 920 had a 12x memory multi
-
Impressive every time.
-
Great work! USA! USA! USA! - what did you use for storage!
Thanks, I used 2x corsair force GT 60gb.

I wonder.... if the 3D01 4x GPU World record was worth 169 points like a usual bench.... how would the leaderboard look in 3 weeks time?
I'm sure that within 3 weeks we'll see numerous scores of 3x/4x benches where scores don't scale. 05, 06, AM3 the WR for 1x and 4x is maybe 2-3k difference and most of the time it's the same or less.
I don't see how running 3x 580's on air merits WR points or deserves to be rewarded in any way. It's just not impressive. The same applies to any other bench where you can do the same. Right now we've only seen it in 01, the rest will follow suit shortly.

3DMark2001 Bios 7702 for Asus P8P67 Deluxe
http://s6.transfer.rol.ro/395691b32892dc735e8a2a3b7e515c4a.html
Is there something similar for a P8P67 Pro, or would this work on it?
-
That seams perfectly fine to me. If someone wants to be a master at one trait it's ok. If someone wants to be more versatile, then let them be. So those who like to bench cpu's only and don't care about 3d should be limited or forced to do something which they don't like?
-
That guy is submitting gt240 results not gts240. They are two completely different cards.
If someone can tell me what I did wrong I'd be more than happy to fix it, but thats the results I got and there's my screenshots and futuremark link so thats my score.
You submitted the obviously bugged score. That in itself is bad enough, but failing to see this is even worse.
-
The card's underperforming, mine does 200k
If he would have run the cpu at decent speeds, might have broke 200k. Clearly the cpu was bottlenecking the card

-
I don't know if it's valid or not, but you know it's a glitch and what pride would you have in submitting a score that you know is obviously an error.

Thanks, but i have a feeling that it won't last very long. Had issues with clocks, the raid card didn't work well with certain voltages that I use to get the cpu to run at 5ghz. Ended up having to settle for 4.7ghz.
