Im curious about you guys sharing all the same 2 boards. What are the logistics? is there a coin flip to see who gets to use it first? what if it dies?
Would be sad if some people didnt not even get a score because of hardware failure early on. -

For the guys with chips that do 5GHz at low volts..... do your air MHz extend to 5.2-5.3GHz with ease (still 1.50v or less?)
I think that if you can boot x50 on air under 1.35v = 6.5ghz+ chip.
The one I have the needs 1.33v to boot x50 4c4t 6.6ghz is maximum voltage stops scaling around 1.85v on it 1.95v did not change a thing.
x52 and 1.4v thats an amazing chip indeed massman

Im out till tomorrow, zorched my board somehow
booted up at -50c this morning anything over stock was an FF, then go into windows and it was stuck at x16, restarted one more time and its dead. no debug powers on 1 sec shuts down infinite cycle ftl... -
Idk man, think I had about 6 Jägerbombs, 6 Beers, then we started shots and I lost count. I do remember using dentlords concealed carry permit to get in to the one clubs lol while he was right behind me.

rbuass, a big bang and gd65 was not needed to win this competition. I could have won first place on a gd45...its the lightning that won them. Why did you buy 3 of them if they were not necessary
Its never fun when hardware is not available I will agree to that.

Im sure it was not MSI's intention to have no stock, Im sure they would have rather been able to SELL their products to the contenders. But great work to all the guys that ran reference cards, you had to work 10x harder then us with lightnings....my wife could have clocked this card to 1680/1920

Honda I think the chips are more efficient with a smaller delta between core and pot. Less voltage less heat..

3sec wazza 2-3sec secondary tweaking...maybe its because it doesnt have latency boundary like ROG? Between auto and setting 5 on the gene was about 3sec ish.
