  1. I read that thread and it appears to be invalid based on the explanation from Jarnis, because the workload in that test is different?

Looks more like a allowed tweak for me. Basically its the same like tesselation. This little trick really boosts score by 200-250points, but you cant submit this to Futuremark.

Maybe someone of the mods could make a clear statement here.

  2. PS: On a second thought it might be really a little bit out of line. It didn't look wrong and finished clean in the end, but not sure if 30MHz on the cores for both cards could get 8pts more in CT. Although it was on a different windows.

Don't ask me about tricks though, I don't know what I'm doing :D

Btw, using 1.0.1 version of the bench which gives better physics and CT.

1.0.1 really gives better physics score. I just found time and tested this yesterday. But for me, influence on combined score is very low. (actually this is now lower)

Anyway I cant match your score with 100Mhz+ on the cores.

  3. A while back we loosened up the competition propositions because users wouldn't get notified if there was a competition matching their hardware specs but didn't match the benchmark application. So the pop-up should appear more often now.

Were you previously getting the message that you could submit the HWBOT Prime score to the Team Cup? But it changed now that the OC4DOGE competition is showing up? In that case it might be related to the hardware database.

I remember that things worked with country cup. Shouldnt that competition which match my hardware most appear first? (instead of not at all) Attached a screenshot...

  4. The mobile submissions are not a problem related to the competition matcher. This is related to the HWBOT Prime APK which doesn't link a teamId to the submission. Because there is no teamId, the competition matcher will not show the Team Cup.

Ok, but still there is a bug with OC4Dodge. Since this competition appeared, competition matcher always wants to match your sub to OC4Dodge, regardless of the used benchmark.

You didnt need to alter hwbot prime and add every sub by hand if users could do this on their own if they only would get the right competition proposed, which should be actually no problem as this worked before without any problem.

  5. So you have to mod your's motherboard. These chipsets are doing ~330 MHz easily (vNB around 1.6-1.7 is needed). My P4C800 did ~310 @ 1.4 V or 1.5 V vNB. Keep pushing :)

I already did some mods. Tried to raise Vnb up to 1,75V and watercooled nb. Didnt help. Maybe I really need some cold to pass 315Mhz fsb. But first wanted to compare another board before I buy some dice. thx guys anyway :)

You really need to mod ASUS boards? Didnt have one but:

ABIT and EPOX mobos have dedicated circuitry for the Vchip (Vdd), set at 1.49Volts. On the other hand, the Vchip on ASUS mobos is increased with respect to the VCore of the CPU, so when we select 1.725VCore, the Northy is supplied with 1.725Volts as well…That’s clever from ASUS side…

  6. Is it possible to disable huge list of competitions appearance after submitting result? It's annoying. I've read them already more than 10 times, I think it's enough :)

The problem with that was not that huge list in general but for some reason competition suggestion no longer matches the used hardware of the submitted result.

i.e. A HWBot Prime result gets proposal to submit in:

    OC4DOGE - 3DMark Fire Strike Tahiti & GK104

    OC4DOGE - Intel SuperPi 32M @ <4.38 GHz

Therefore especial people doing submissions with a mobile cant link them to TeamCup.

btw could you move this result: http://hwbot.org/submission/2620844_
