Interesting, i didn't think that calculation of points was something for the user to do. Suggest Massman takes a look at this.

Seems the system is really slow at updating global points after you edit a submission. Clearly this is a 2x result and I editted it straight away after submission (about 2 hours ago). Massman something to look into?

I trust that it would only be implemented for new results being posted?

I have a query about Global Points and their contribution to pro league rankings. Recently i noticed a user in the Pro league had two results in their top 15 for wPrime 32M, 1024M, and a couple others. The difference was the hardware used. For global points, if I have a great CPU can i then use different video cards (e.g. AM3 use 5870, 6970, 480, 580) and all of them attract GL points and all of them count towards my Pro league ranking?

So, would it then stand to reason that hobbling 3DMark'05 by running it concurrently with other loads could result in "better score"? Never tried it myself to see if it works.

I don't see any users in the rankings this morning. Am not a fan at all of the front page layout, the banner takes up too much real estate, the buttons and frames and fonts on everything is so big, and top submissions for the day is the first and only thing you can see without scrolling.

As a judge or competition organizer I would not want contestants accessing phones, laptops, or using headsets for the same reasons as we disallow the use of phones during GOOC. As a contestant I also would not want the burden of wearing a headset and interfacing with a comms system detracting from my focus on benching. 2c
