Yeah there's still plenty of tweaks unseen in pcm05 Steve I have been waiting for the right time, firstly it was never needed before and secondly just in the last few months PCM has developed into a tweakers heaven, guys are regularly find new tweaks... Gluv, Steve, bob, the Greek team, and the landscape has changed 6 months ago vid encoding, web browsing, trans windows, etc in their current form would all be flagged as bad scores and moderated, I am proud that the community has taken the step forward that we needed to embrace this amazing benchmark, one that you need more than a great CPU or GPU to win -

PCMark05: Revodrive 3 X2 Performance
TeamAU replied to I.M.O.G.'s topic in General hardware discussion
yeah good idea, with the maxiops I also had to secure erase it before the performance was nice, i never found the revodrive good for much more than harddrive startup, but its perfect for that -
still on IE9, but warming up with Sandy Bridge/Z77 in anticipation of Ivy launch, think theres still some more in Trans Windows though

i7-3770K + ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z + LN2 = 6274 MHz
TeamAU replied to slamms's topic in Ivy Bridge (Z77) OC
how about we ban any retails that are amazing too, like the ones stewie and you were playing with in the past? lets also ban mods to GPU, because after mods they are no longer available to buy from retail shops thats what the pro league is there for, so you can compete in whatever league you want and not complain for the sake of complaining just my 2c worth -

i think you guys might be surprised and E1 might be better, you have to remember for the samples that have been binned so far, a large portion are E0, compared to a small portion E1, so simple maths would tell us there is a far greater chance of finding better clocking chips in the large E0 part of the pie, compared to the tiny E1 slice A0-fiasco blah, the only thing A0 ended up being better at was 32m, retail chips came through and clocked great -
Mr alvent strikes again
