Handpicked ES CPUs are fun huh?
-
I think it's safe to say that my article can now be enriched
Yah it is

zoro don't bother answering him... Check his posts, he is being suspicuous for every user that benches i5 750 with 2 cores enabled...
-
LOL... Please delete this.
-
Dear SamSaveMax
Pls explain that why your cpuz only shown 2 core instead 4 core
LOL
It's common knowledge dude... With Core i5/i7, disabling 2 cores in BIOS not only results in higher benching frequency for 2D benchmarks, but also helps a bit in SuperPi as well.

What on earth were they thinking while writing the rules? Competition starts in one week and MSI Big Bang XPower boards are not yet available! How is one supposed to compete?
-
-
Oh trust me, I will! I'll try overclocking it, and if I can't (due to the fact that's it's a mobile CPU), I'll just tweak my scores as much as I possibly can =)

Thanks a lot Karl! That's why I love HWBOT, the support I always got was incredible!

Ticket ID: 886
Priority: Medium
Apparently there are three different packages of Pentium 3 CPUs:\r\n\r\n1) MMC-1 and MMC-2 === http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-003759.htm\r\n2) Micro-PGA2 and Micro-FCPGA === http://www.intel.com/support/processors/mobile/pentiumiii/sb/CS-007526.htm\r\n3) Micro-FCBGA and Micro-BGA2 === http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-009864.htm\r\n\r\nMine is the first one aka MMC package. There isn\'t such category on HWBOT, therefore I\'d like to ask if it\'s possible for you to create one. Should be the new Intel Pentium III E 700MHz MMC category
\r\n\r\nHere is SuperPi 1M run I did recently, with CPU-Z CPU/Memory/Mainboard tab so that you get the picture: http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/5066/hehjf.jpg\r\n\r\nOne can clearly observe that CPU is in a laptop named Gateway Solo 9300, so it\'s a mobile one. Thanks a lot for your patience and understanding, I\'d be more than happy it this could be sorted out.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBest Regards,\r\n\r\nGeorge.

Aaah good catch, George!
I've upgraded the database connector library on the test server, which had a bugfix related to this issue. That might have solved the issue too. If you have spare time George, would you be so kind to try to upload a problematic [] submission on the test server and let me know whether it succeeded? http://hwbot.org:12080
Just tried uploading one of the problematic results on the test server. Problem's still there apparently. It's not a major one to be honest. I just can't recall experiencing it before v3.5
I was always using VSO Image Resizer in order to resize pictures and add watermarks and stuff... After resizing, VSO tends to put the resolution in []. So for example "77084 2k1 8800GTS" becomes "77084 2k1 8800GTS [1280x1024]"
@Alriin: Man calm down, richba5tard will look into your problem as soon as possible. You just have to be patient, it's not like you are paying for the services provided

I've been trying to upload three results (2k1, 2k3 & 2k5) since yesterday evening but still nothing. Every single time after I hit the submit button this message pops up:
"Crap. An error happened.
We could blame this on you but it's most likely our crappy coding skills. You could try again or nudge our developpers for fixing this.
Error message
org.apache.torque.TorqueException: java.sql.SQLException: Incorrect string value: '\xCE\x91\xCF\x81\xCF\x87...' for column 'name' at row 1"
I've never had this problem in the past... I tried multiple things, like uploading it with less system information or without adding futuremark verification link or system pic. I'd be more than grateful if somebody could look into it.
Great job on rev3.5, congratulations to everybody! Just checked and saw that the bug with "View top 100" is taken care of as well. 'Cause yesterday when I wanted to view top 100 of 8800GTS 3DMark03 results for example, it kept taking me to the global 2k3 WR page
George.
Frederik I managed to find the problem after all... When one has "[" or "]" in the screenshot name (whether it's for the score, or the system pic) hwbot freaks out. Take that into consideration people, in case you're experiencing the same problem with me.
-
George_o/c, did you change your nickname to something exotic in the past few weeks? I can't find "George_o/c" in the database.
Hey mate
I spoke to Massman the day before you posted and he thought the problem was occurring due to the fact that my nickname has a slash ("/") in it. So he changed it to George_oc.
Just tried to upload a score again. Same problem

richba5tard I'm still encountering the exact same problem. Could you check into it please?
I've tried everything... Didn't have that problem before, not once!
