Hey Massman! Thanks! Yeah, I do have some pics of the system as well.. I'm going to try for max clock in a little bit.. I just thought 5300mhz would be good. It was my last bench so not much LN2.

The weird thing about this run was that the cards did'nt scale very well beyond 1100mhz core clock.. Framerates dropped and it was all crap.. But they do scale well at moderate clock speeds.

Hey, it must have been something because look at my 3dmark 05 single card result.. That says linked display adapters = no..

No, I was'nt using sli for this run but I do have some other scores using sli.

Thanks Steponz!! : ) Pretty soon I'll get it going.. It's so weird.. This chip would barely do 6400mhz the other day... but today it ran sooooo well! I dont get what I did different... Pot was tighter? Maybe cpu pins have perfect contact? Who knows.. hmmmm

lol!!! Finally my xpower blew up.. Did'nt even do anything to it.. This was non LN2.. It started making a weird noise then it killed one of my awesome cpu's.. I love xpower!!

Sorry to hear that brotha.. Mine is acting normal now.. Really weird stuff going on.. It just wont run super pi 32m. That's about the only benchmark my xpower wont run.. Well, at least every xpower board is special or different in their own way.. Cherry pick the xpower boards

Good news.. I can pretty much run every benchmark on the xpower now.. Even 3dmark 06 I just tested at 6170 mhz with ht on.. xp gives a crazy score of about 14500.. Also, sometimes the temperatures jump around and I cant seem to get anything to work under LN2.. But then when I re apply thermal grease and start over, the temperature stays pretty consistent.. Maybe the cpu is'nt seated right?

I guess I'll grab another big bang xpower and check it out..

The ud9 is definitely cool! It's alot of fun to work with as well. I still like the x-power better.. Sometimes at -185c the ud9 decides it does'nt like that and wants to shut down.. Not cb.. It just decides to.. I dont know what the deal is but it's not my favorite. The rampage lll and the x-power are really great besides my memory issue. I'm thinking it may just be my mobo. I hope not.. Although the Sr-2 with 2 x5680's is really great though.

Ok, So I tried the same thing on the xpower as well.. it clocks high for sure and is really stable.. Once again, the memory wont overclock though.. This time it's the gtx2 I wonder if I need to pump more voltage into it.. I'm at 1.80v - 1.90v on the mem. Maybe I should try 2.0v

Hey massman... I did these for you.. I can clock the memory high on other boards.. My scores are not very good because of my timings but just an example.. Cheers! I was never good at cpu tests.. I love the xpower, just wish it loved me back

Hey Massman, So I updated my bios.. I tried every single one you posted.. corsair dominator gt / A-data xpg / dominator gtx will freeze in windows above 925mhz with the latest bios. I dont know what the deal is... My cpu likes 1.50 vtt and subzero cooling.. 1.74v - 1.80v on the dram.. Also, it makes me feel like an overclocking noob now since it freezes in windows at 4.40ghz.. Just not right.. pifast will run up to 6500mhz on this chip I have on the rampage lll extreme.. I love the xpower because of it's features and it's easy to use but this memory thing is killin me. Thanks so much man for all your posts!!
