Yo Kal-el! man, the 980x 6ghz superstore is all about binning 30 980x cpu's.. sounds horrible but that's the ticket..

That really is a sweet score man!! It's taken me a few sessions to really figure out 32m! Probably about 6 or so like you! I had to hunt for os's.. The speed is there, it's just the crap os's and getting to know the chip that's the pain.. two of these in vantage at 6ghz each really rock as well!!

Yo man! Depends on the chip.... Actually, the two x5680's I had did'nt need much vcore but I burnt one up running vantage, so the one I have now kinda sux.. oh well.. still 5400mhz vantage stable for cpu test..

Man, nice score!! You know, it's really hard to find the right os to match up these numbers.. Cant wait to post my awesome score! It took me a while to get 32m right! I'm out of town so hav'nt really had time to post it or there's really no need, but the x5677 I have can run prime at 6200mhz. I'm just curious.. was it hell for you to get this right like it was for me! cheers brotha!!

Yo brotha!! : ) cpu vcore was 1.85v Still does'nt show up using x-power.. This cpu will do more.. 6400mhz.. I was just testing gpu's so this score was'nt planned or anything.. next time!

Yeah, I've tried 06 and 05.. Both are not good.. If I could get 2 x5677's running 06 at 6ghz then I may have something, but that would be the only way.. Maybe? : )

There is no cbb, but there is a horrible cb at around -90c or so.. if I increase my ram speed this will be better.. next time.. tomorrow maybe!

Thanks so much guys!! What's the best way to get max b clock. When I up the speed in windows, the cpu becomes very unstable around 230 or so and spikes up to 9ghz.. but when I boot directly into windows at 230, then there's no problems..

Nice! I did the same clock speeds as you on the quad core! wprime 32m did'nt agree with me though. sr-2 worked....

Have to be honest and say this is the weirdest/best chip I've owned.. It will boot into windows no problem at 6300mhz and if you guys new the qpi / vtt voltage you would freak.. it's soooo low.. also cold bug is very low. On accident I made it spike to 9ghz.. no blue screen or freeze either.. it was just for a second.. there is weird stuff going on with this one.. Also will run 3d like there is no tomorrow. I've never had this experience with a cpu but I can tell you that there is also no degrade.. I probably ran wprime a hundred times and still stronger then ever.. must be the low voltage combined with the high clocks that's kept it alive. weirdness.. By the way... -90c coldbug. Going to use my kingpin nb pot next time to increase the ioh and see what happens. cheers!
