Awesome! Shame there's no 64x multiplier
-
I have one of those too

There's no code that:
- checks your profile to see if you are applicable for a competition
- no competition limitations at contest level, all are on stage level
A bit annoying, but there's other stuff that needs to be fixed first.

question, if you are in china but not chinese are you eligible while in china?
If you are Chinese but not in China are you eligible to win?
-
If this is only open to Chinese overclockers, why did all of HWBot get an email inviting us to participate?
-
Any update here? Are the results official?

It could be the memory... I'm having the exact same issue with my BBSE HyperX sticks. They won't do anything better than 2400 9-11-9 no matter how many volts I give. The CPU IMC is good for almost 2800 with the right memory.

What we've done with OCN competitions is to have "checkpoints" at which points are given over the period of a competition... every 10 days or so points are awarded... it brings out the good scores quicker.

How about just accept sand bagging is part of this hobby and move on with your lives and find something else to cry about.
As Matt said, this is a discussion. Coming in here and telling people to stop discussing something because you don't think it has merit is a bit arrogant...
-
Is that just a standard vmod? Can you do that with the Lightning?
-
Teach us, master!

I think he means 2 hours reserved for submissions.
But that seems to take away the months of sharing information and tweaks (even between teams). I love the threads talking about how to improve scores and then you get users that read but don't help at all and then submit scores at the end of the competition using everything they read.
-
Why cry about sandbagging, let each participant play the game the way they want to. Sand bagging is a smart strategy, noone see you coming and you can push to target their scores. If put up best straight away you set a target for them and they will push harder until they best you. Crying about this sgrategy is childish. Htfu princess.
Not crying, just saying it's dumb that it's a legitimate strategy. As far as I'm aware, I've never been a target of sandbagging...
-
I meant to direct this at competitions, not so much standard benching.
knopflerbruce, perhaps we should eliminate all but one day of the competition... Announce the date that every should turn in scores and leave it at that.
Or provide incentive to submitting scores earlier, as we have done in the past...
-
I hate that it's a legitimate strategy in this hobby. In my opinion, it's for people who are afraid their best isn't good enough.

PCM05 is dead with all of these new "tweaks".

edit: with greece is quite common to find this kind of results, have a look at the i7-950 category: http://hwbot.org/benchmark/cpu_frequency/rankings?hardwareTypeId=processor_1875#start=0#interval=20 lol
lol all on the same board too
