  1. I tried to submit to this competition and the only way I could do it was via the comp page itself, rather than via hwbot.org. Then I tried again with a better score and noticed this limitation... The participate button works fine for Rookie Rumble but Ryzen Rumble wants a submission from "F1 2014 - 1080P Ultra." rather than the X265 1080P that the comp page states. OC eSports
  2. Description: "Testing EVGA GTX 1080Ti KP QUAD SLI :)" I've been waiting to find out if there would be a Ti Kingpin edition... guess that answers that!
  3. To clarify a little... You can use Win 7 or before. Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 are blocked apart from Kaby Lake, Skylake certain benchmarks as seen in this list here:
  4. I'm planning to start out with LN2 in the next month or so, so I wondered how that will effect my submissions... If I enter stages 1 and 2 on H2O as a Rookie, and then once I have started using LN2 I enter a later stage (so will then be in the Extreme League) does it void my Rookie scores or will they still stand?
  5. I've found using HWInfo v5.50-3130 and the CPU (Tdie) shows correct (I believe). Happy enough to rely on it myself anyway.
  6. Could someone answer a few questions about point scoring please? I understand (thanks to Strong Island) that only my top 20 hardware, top 15 global and top 10 comp points coint towards my league position, but I want to make sure I understand how the points are awarded for each submission so I don't invest my time in the wrong areas. I had assumed that getting higher scores in more popular benchmarks won more points, but this seems to not neccesarily be the case. (i.e. getting 25th place in Fire Strike [13.8pts] would award more points than 25th place in PiFast [30.8pts]) but it doesn't... although I thought WR points would count towards league position in which case that would make sense (13.8pts + 100 for WR)? Also, hypothetically... if I was the first person to benchmark a new CPU and obiously end up in 1st place for the hardware but that CPU then goes on to be very popular - does the number of points awarded increase as more score are submitted with the same hardware? Sorry for the basic questions, I'm aware this shouldn't be so hard to grasp!
  7. Thank you for your help bud, that clears things up - I had looked for info on how the points worked but didn't fina anything and your posts have helped lots!
  8. Thanks, i guess i thought once points were scored... They were final. I'll look into it!
  9. I'm wondering if some can help me identify which submissions of mine have been removed so i can work out what I've done wrong? I dropped almost 20 points (i think) last week and then another 8 points in the last few days. Not sure why and I'd expect a message or notification explaining which submission and a reason but haven't had any at all since creating my account. Thanks in advance for any assistance..
  10. No problem, just wanted to check it wasn't my mistake. Thanks for arranging a fix.
  11. Hi guys, I'm not sure if I'm missing something here or if it's a bug etc so thought I'd check. Last night I posted a score for Geekbench 3 with the intention of entering the G.Skill OC WC competition - submission is here: HWBOT isn't giving me the option to participate in the competition, even though I believe the submission met all of the requirements. If I edit the submission, I am told that I must post a verification link - which I have. If I try to submit via the competition page on oc-espots.io I get the same error when posting the verification link to System manufacturer System Product Name - Geekbench Browser I have never entered a competition involving GB3 before, but also this is my 1st submission after paying for GB3 but I believe the link is still the same domain. Have I missed something?
  12. Damn, I just ordered one from OCUK today - checked Amazon last night and it was £100 more than that! Arrives tomorrow
  13. Thank you. Guess I'll carry on tweaking!
  14. I just submitted an entry for the RTP competition and wanted to check that disabling 1xGPU by turning off SLI is ok, or if that still grants a boost to my scores? My score seems higher than expected judging by the other entries but according to afterburner GPU 2 was idle.
  15. Just want to check this is normal, but I don't show up in my team rankings. I'm ranked 5th in my team but when I check the team rankings my submissions do not appear for any benchmark. /r/overclocking @ HWBOT Is this normal, or have I made a mistake with my submissions?
