IDK even without sponsorship i think i'd want to compete in the pro league. Would there be requirements? Would it be something thats earned? How about making the pro-league something that people would want to be in by rewarding with a different (maybe Higher) point structure. Rather than forcing people to go pro.

I think the pro in the pro league should have bointage and the bointage should still go to his team as well. so as not to hurt team standings worldwide. So 2 leagues but separate individual points and points earned will still go to the team. Does that sound as confusing to you as it does to me? I'd hate to be the one trying to write that code. lol

Doing a video while pouring 2 or 3 pots and running the pc would totally suck. yea peple do it for live feeds al the time. but to have to do it everytime just because i have this golden chip, would be another "this is total BS' argument. And would create a ton of problems. A person could take a photo of a retail chip and bench a ES chip. Who's to say he didn't? i agree. it's very complicated and all venues have to be explored. This is why everyones input means somthing. arguing about it solves nothing. Coming up with a reasonable suggestion like video is a good idea. Kudos for thinking of that solution even though it may not be feasable. Its still a good suggestion. It is clear that a way of defining the chip/product is the first step.

yea but like my Retail 980x can do better than some ES and people would question it. There are some good retail chips out there. they are far and few between and people would start flagging saying i tried to hide my ES chip status.

Yes the complications are clear. No i'm sorry i never saw that post. I think that you have a great idea there. To implement it would be awesome. You and your guys have the knowledge and talent to do this and it would definately make the playing field better. but as you said participation is the biggest problem. how many people would that make in that league about 25 -30? It really dosn't seem likely that corporate sponsers would want to provide harware for such a small amount of poeple. Wheres the bragging rights in that. Unless the sponsership was for a whole team and not individuals. I really find the competition in this hobby is fierce and often wonder why, even I, feel the need to be on top. It's not like we get paid for this or can say "I'm going to Disneyland" when the championship is won. There is no championship. There is no prize money and there is never one winner. Its like a drug and Futuremark and HWBot are the fix.

Allow without points is the leading vote. Clearly. But honesty in submissions would be a huge problem.

There have been some mixed results. I'm pretty sure it depends on the chip. A friend tried it and he cb'd at -135. I realy havn't done enough testing to realize stability.

I guess i just got a POS. Like i said it wouldnt even run at stock clocks. No way was i going to even attepmt to flash the bios because they sent me a bad card.

Thats a minimal clock compared to what it should be. Sorry but the promotion on these cardshad them doing way better stock.

Unfortunately we were all hungry for bointage and MSI dangled it in our eyes like we were dogs on a bone. They sure did bait us bigtime. Mine went back. It cost me a 75.00 restocking fee but thats better than wasting 5 sheets. My card wouldn't even run Vantage or 06 at Stock speeds!!!
