thank you mate, yes it was on SOC Force LN2 board, which has no mounting holes. but i had a pretest session with my pentium g3258 to test it with no mounting, and i considered it safe. lil pentium did 6.2G 32M, but its definately not that hot chip like this 4770K was... how good it was? 6.8G valid, nearly 6.5G 32M i was running 32M at 6450 1.82vcore/2.40vccin/1.45vring when ive got bsod at loop 15...

it seems my best haswell chip (L310B) died yesterday under 32M running... after loop15 random bsod and never woke up... guys, really dont recommended to use your ln2 pot without mounting, last time on pentium it worked on z97x soc force ln2 board, but with a 4c/8t chip it means more heat, im sure it died bcoz of this, i can see a lil black spot on the die, bunnyextraction happens RIP

i had same issues, now i cannot do retest with cpu bcoz valid is not enough, and during holidays no ln2, no time. wasted effort. good luck all anyway!

what do you mean under target score? will be any limitations like in XTU? or you have to do 6:00:00 min for example, lowest clock wins? or you have to do sub 6:00:00 min to enter the competition like target? or thats all secret

did someone try to delid one of these low volt air and ln2 sucker chips and test it over again? Farjam maybe? its quite funny that my L423B 4790k is about 100C hot under linx at only 1.17v 4.6G on advanced aircooling, airconditioned room too bad i cannot afford to kill a 400 euro chip, but would be interesting to test it recently... maybe its just the bad thermal conduction causing the subzero problems with these new chips, otherwise i really dont understand why so many haswells fail and did not scale well with cold like others do with no reason according to aircooling pretests... its kinda annoying...

hi Andrea, 5.9G hwbotprime and wprime32m on XP at 1.697vcore 2.1vccin OK, but not really pushed i was just curious about 2 core performance, maybe 6G is doable. if noone will take this chip, i will try delid on it, a friend of mine got extra 100-150mhz on ln2 with his pentium, and this one scales better with volts and cold. cheers, bala
