  1. Screwed that up...sorry. Here's the sub https://hwbot.org/submission/4192659_
  2. I personally can't stand all the rookies who do nothing BUT XTU. This forces them to branch out and try new things. XTU is benching for dummies. Except MANY of them don't learn ANYTHING besides XTU. And step nowhere from there. It's pathetic frankly. Hence what I said above...
  3. I keep getting errors extracting it. I've tried on 2 different PCs, one with W10 one with W7. Both get the same errors. Tried 3 different file downloads so far. Same thing every time. So not likely bad downloads. Actually...W10 threw another similar error one time I tried extracting it. But the 2 above are consistent between 7 and 10. Happen every time I try extracting it. Even when I redownload it. App seems to work fine regardless. I have no idea why... EDIT: Tried manually submitting a SPI-1M score just now. "Invalid data file: Unable to decrypt the datafile" Screenshot works...
  4. I found some with finger adjustment knobs. Some are long... Some are short... But either way...it would be nice not having to use a tool at all to adjust them! ? Here's some links: Digi-Key Mouser EDIT: Looks like those are all single turn though. Which sucks...?
  5. Like you said...nothing. But for < $2 you can buy the tool. Which does one thing a screwdriver can't. It's on the end not shown in the pic above. You can probably guess what it is. If you can't...it's got a socket with the blade recessed inside of it. Fits right on the trimmer adjustment knob and prevents it from slipping off while turning. Let's see your screwdriver do that! I wish I could find those long knob trimmers. I'd be all over those too!
  6. 1. They make trimmer adjustment/tuning tools. 2. They make trimmers that are specifically for panel mounting. 3. You can get panel mounting retrofit kits for standard trimmers too. I wish somebody'd told me about these things. Because I use them all the time now. The adjustment tool is the coolest thing since sliced bread. And panel mounting trimmers is just about as cool(if you've got volt mods on components inside a case anyway). Drill hole > mount trimer > adjust trimmer without having to open your case(and/or without having to reach inside your opened case). GENIUS! ?
  7. Soooooooo….nothing? No reply at all? Not even gonna tell me to get bent? That's nice...? too then!
  8. This is so annoying... Somebody commented in my profile wall recently. And lately it's been doing this stupid hang up "Failed to reload comments" BS all the time. Some days it doesn't do it all day long(it just skips past it and doesn't even show the comment at all). But it's done this crap non-stop for the last 2 days now. I like to be able to go through my submission history when I need to. Now I'm unable to go back further than February 18 2019 because of the stupid thing shown above. NO...REFRESHING THE PAGE DOES NOT FIX IT AND IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!! PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO TRY THAT!!! Can someone instead please fix this bug? Or delete that comment from my wall for me? Either one would be great. Thanks!
  9. @ObscureParadox thanks for showing me that. I never looked there before. Good to know. But not exactly what I'm talking about either. @Don_Dan I think get what you're saying. And it does make sense...to a limited extent. And maybe that is how it's supposed to be. This is what I still don't get though. How/why is it that there are rankings for say a 3570 and a 3570K. And I can have scores in the rankings for both. When they are almost exactly the same processor. But there's still a distinction that's being made there. Even though they're as close to the same thing as you can possibly get. But I can only be ranked for the product type of DDR3 that I have the highest scores with? Whether it's Crucial Ballistix Sport VLP DDR3-1600 or Teamgroup Xtreme LV DDR3-2666...it's all the same? Even though there's rankings for both? WTF? And like I'm saying...they're actually not really any more, or less, the same than a 3570 and a 3570K even. But I can't have the highest Crucial Ballistix Sport scores...because my Teamgroup Xtreme LV scores are higher? Seriously? What's the point of that? It's like saying I can't have the highest 3570 scores...because my 3570K scores are higher. But in that case...I CAN HAVE BOTH! What? I give up... Bottom line: I guess I get it. But I don't get it. But if that's the way it is...whatever. Moving on... EDIT: Just realized another idiosyncrasy. Motherboard reference frequency scores apply to all motherboards. Which, by the same line of reasoning, would mean I can't have motherboard reference frequency scores in the rankings of different motherboards. Only my highest reference frequency score should be ranked in the reference frequency scores for that particular motherboard. But that's not how it is. As I do have reference frequency scores in the rankings for multiple different motherboards. But all motherboards are the same right? Just like all DDR3 is the same? No...I don't think so. That's stupid as all hell. Even stupider in fact.
  10. On the first thing you're saying, I'm well aware of that. That's not what I'm talking about. On the second thing...already been there. I provided the link to it in my first post(but here it is again if you missed it https://hwbot.org/hardware/memoryproduct/ballistix_sport/). That's how I know what I'm talking about here. My scores are not there, when they should be. Maybe that's not a "bug"(I still say it is for the record). But it's still wrong, no matter what you call it. It's also wrong that there are Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 scores in the same rankings as Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 scores. They are not even close to the same thing. On the final thing...thanks. Now I know how to get that done at least.
  11. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this. It's seems like a bug to me. Anyway. I've submitted several scores for a kit of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3 that I just got a couple days ago. None of the scores are being listed in the Crucial Ballistix Sport rankings. I've never had this problem with any other hardware. What gives? The scores in question: https://hwbot.org/submission/4106699 https://hwbot.org/submission/4106706 https://hwbot.org/submission/4107162 https://hwbot.org/submission/4107159 As you can see, those are very high scores for that particular hardware. I'd like them to be acknowledged as such. That's all. Side note: Since it sort of relates. How does hardware get added to the rankings? I've got a shit ton of memory, HDDs/SSDs, and motherboards from various manufacturers that there aren't even any rankings for. Shouldn't that be an easy thing to fix? And/or why is it not? And/or why are the hardware rankings limited to so few brands/products? As I'm sure there's VASTLY more hardware in the world than there's rankings for on HWBOT. At least half of the hardware I currently own doesn't exist according to HWBOT. W T F over? A prime example being these Crucial Ballistix Sport sticks I'm trying to submit scores for. They're actually Crucial Ballistix Sport VLP DDR3. Which are not the same as the "standard" Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3. Notably they're low voltage modules(DDR3L). Maybe that's not a big enough difference to matter...to most folks. It is to me though. But whatever. I just want my scores listed correctly(or as close to it as possible).
  12. Vcore for the SC2643VXTS PWM controller is GNDSEN(Pin 6) to ground. Because GNDSEN(Pin 6) is grounded you have to solder directly to the pin(or try your luck with another ground point). 10K pot works great. I'm pretty sure FB(Pin 7) is Vdroop. But I haven't messed with it yet. Despite the horrible Vdroop on this board. I might get around to it eventually. Nope, done with this POS(see edit below). Anyway, I googled the Vcore mod for this board first, and all I came up with was a guy saying he did FB to ground and it didn't work for Vcore. No mention of it working for Vdroop or not. But the schematic seems to point to it as a likely candidate. Either that or OUTSEN(Pin 23). I don't know...you tell me. I might also toy around with the Vdimm eventually too. If so I'll add it here later. EDIT: Tried the Vdimm every way I thought it might be doable. Never worked. Killed 3 boards trying it too. Nice! ? Oh well. Moved on to the P4P800-VM. WAY better board anyway. Should have NEVER even bothered with this stupid P4S800-MX. Ya live ya learn! ?
  13. Attached what? Where? Anywho...just restart your PC. Finally figured out on my own that's how you fix it. What causes it is running MM, then closing it, and then running it again. Sticks on 150.0ns every time. Until you reboot. Once again the reboot fixes what's "broke". Has nothing to do with which version of MM. So yeah...thanks for nothing. And...you're welcome! EDIT: Ran across someone mentioning killing the CPU-Z process. Windows Task Manager > Processes > cpuz.exe > End process. Seems to work to fix the stuck latency issue(among other things). Attached a copy of v2.04 for anyone needing it. MaxxMEM2_Preview.zip
  14. Where did all my points go? Or do I have to read through this entire thread to find out? #1 on my team...by a long shot...to #10. 360ish hard earned points GONE! W T F over? ?
