I wish we had more lightnings rofl.
the truth, it was hard enough finding one card in the US.

dropping the bomb:p
congrats big guy!

get this, i had a company in NZ quote me $19.5/litre
is that the most expensive LN2 you've ever heard of LMAO
yea that is the highest butt raping I have heard of, does LHe even cost that much?
I really wonder what the actual cost to large scales suppliers distributors because the gouging that goes on is unreal and the variance is shocking, could be a logistical issue, but I hardly see this.
I had the manager of an Airgas tell me that he "loses" about 5-10 liters to fill up my 25L dewar and that by the time he pays an employee xx amount an hour that he would not be making anything if he sold it for any less than $1.50 a liter even when I had three receipts from his company in different regions all for $0.50 a liter.
ahhh once again back to my point, douches:p

0.72cents a liter from Praxair:)
Airgas wanted $6.25 a liter, douches

I got lucky that I did not sell SB yet, and only had to purchases 10 3930k to find this one
on RunMC single stage -45c it is too cold, chip does not like -30c or more to run actual benchmarks.
-45c single stage passes physics x54 at 1.55v and fails x55 up to 1.61v
-28c ln2 passes physics x56 1.575v no problem
I have to admit, x79a-GD65 is a pretty nice and easy to bench board. Not too many settings which is not always bad if you dont know what they do lol. I think the poor south american benchers have alot of humidity, I bench in room at 55F and AC blasting bone dry.
oh wow, never thought the ss would be to cold, I never tested my SB-E on anything but RunMC's single stage, oh well that chip is gone.

nice boost for a bios update!

6660mhz, the mark of the beast lol
great job dinos:)

Definitely not legit... I have 2 7970s @ 1205/1800 and they score just slightly under X7000. X8000+ numbers are only possible at these clocks if you mess with CCC tesselation settings.
there is nothing wrong with this submission, disabling tessellation in CCC is allowed per hwbot as the option is built in to the driver.

I had multiple accounts banned there after pointing out marketing or product flaws in public ... coincidence?
As for registration - last time I visited (a couple of months ago), it was something like $1 to register.
you are right there is a registration fee for new members, and it seemed like everything was starting to stabilize and now this lol.
oh well, hopefully they get it back up soon.
and I never even knew you had a handle there Sam, that sucks about the multiple account bans as well, I usually find what you post informative.

Hey CherV... Thanks for the info. I am going to have me some fun digging into DWM and the registry this week for sure.
One question I have on this... The above item: Does that mean that one needs a 120Hz monitor in order to reach those levels?
I think just enabling that option in the registry is what is meant but I could be misunderstanding it as well.

steve have you messed around with pcmark on win8 preview? I called paul tonight and we were talking about it.
I'm dling the win8 iso atm. also im looking forward to do some ivybridge pc mark with you.
hit me in the hwbot thread on xs or send me a pm.
TA
it works very well on PCMark 7 but not so much on 05, and I personally have never run Vantage so no idea there.

1250 / 1800 on full speed fan for 03
about what mine clocks to max on air, it is not as good as my reference Sapphire card which clocks to 1330/1875 on air and runs much cooler but I am sure the Lightning will be better under cold.
but man it is a pretty card, and so much quieter than the reference designed cooler.
what is the ASIC value on yours Splave?

nice efficiency Splave
