This helps?
not with whatever driver came on the disc, (12.1?) still 1200/1250 with a max of 1.25v.
will be testing 12.3 in a bit and will report back if the limits are raised.

just picked up a 7770, does anybody have a bios which allows higher than 1200/1250?
-
that isn't true. I have a E0 3750K.
Nice CPU man!
E0 3750K?
3570K or 3770K?

love seeing these clocks on DDR2:)

.. really your argument is invalid, because aliens.
most logical and valid point in this thread:P

nice, I would call this an anomaly:P

Mate, it might be the language barrier as expressed before... but this discussion is maybe the result of many discussions in topics at HWbot before. Dealing with expensive hardware, multiple GPU's etc... and most were started by Brazilian OC'ers... Look I don't point a finger at you as maybe your only intention was to highlight what can be done with "special" hardware. But this has been dealt before and heavily discussed. That's why I asked you previously what the aim was of this thread. Never mind it's the ways of the internet, things get drawn out of proportion sometimes...
Every time I see one of "these" threads it is usually from "that" camp and it is getting extremely old. I agree with everything you have said Leeghoofd.
dhenzjhen deserves to be congratulated imho, he made it to the top 10 in a fairly short amount of time, and that is awesome. Who cares if he benches crazy setups that most of us will never even have the chance to use. This just shows that there is more than one way to get to the top of the ladders without benching commonly used hardware.
I don't have the resources to bench 4 way sli/quadfire or mp setups, but there is no crying over here, just saying.

epic cpu, benchable at those speeds?
-
I skipped the air and water stage of benchmarking, and my first purchase was a dewar... before I had any benching hardware.
honestly that is the best way to do it, well maybe not for everyone, but anyone that has progressed from air to cold in any way has accumulated a bunch of crap that they ended up selling to fund the purchase of cold gear (dewars, thermometers, single stage, cascade, etc. . .)
I know I am guilty of the above, I am thinking about getting rid of all water gear and just keeping one air cooler for pretesting.

its amazing how crazy pcmark05 is going now, so many submissions,
makes me really happy to see others are enjoying this bench as much as me, its becoming the new 3dmark01... don't need the best cpu to win, highly tweakable, scales with memory/cpu/gpu + storage, a great mix of elements
and i dont want to hear any complains about needing good storage, because to win superpi you need an amazing CPU or to win 3D you need a great GPU, both expensive if you need to buy multiple pieces...
good work guys, especially SteveRo and all the Greek benchers taking the lead from the original Mr PcMark dinos111
+1
love seeing all the new submission's
