Never tried any A2 on X299, Kaby or Sky X but I remember even with A0 on Kaby X 4133 12-11 wasn't exactly easy at least on early bios's.
Glad to see you guys testing this since I think most of not all future platforms will favor A2.

Direct die isn't always very constant. The custom IHS is really good.
Extremely consistent when your machinist is Brady
Never tried aftermarket ihs on SkyX so can't comment there, but I'm sure it's miles better than the por solution from big blue.
Using Bartx copper ihs I assume?

No microcode penalty ftw!
Have to work harder with Cascade Lake X, but usually the cpu's on average oc better so that offsets the mitigations.
Still can't believe this cpu is this good without direct die, congrats.

Awesome run Bully!
IMC on this one looks beast mode as well, especially to run 4x2GB so high.

So does VDDG 1.15v in the LN2 Guide mean the VDDG CCD Voltage?
My CPU does full pot but every time must be heat @ -88°c get reset/reboot
Yes on prior AGESA, 1.15v would be the equivalent of setting both iod and ccd to 1.15v.

Retired my ass hahaha
You need 5910 too see Allen's usb drive

Every time under LN2 after a reboot I have to heat the pot to -88 ° c so that the system can boot up again.
Is there a setting that circumvents this ?
Some can boot again at -170 ° cI'm unsure as I've never used x570 on Asus but in my testing if a cpu can full pot, it should be able to reboot at full pot and not cbb if your settings are correct, crash or not.
The only time I see a cbb is when I try to change fuclk when full pot, and on some cpu's changing memory clock, albeit rarely.

A lot has gone into preparing this believe me. There's only so much that can be done in terms of unforseen events that are completely out of our control, but as always everyone will try their best to counter as many possible scenarios.
I think you guys are going to have a blast in the qualifier and I look forward to seeing new and old faces this year.

Same rail as before but now it's split into two separate planes. Before they were linked, now you can try to lower iod and keep ccd at same voltage as before and see if you can run higher fclk cb free.

Added some KPC Dark, M10A and M11G.

Nah CPU never exceeded 70C.
Gotcha, I know if you exceed +100c it's not uncommon for the TR's to shutdown, but your temps are perfect.

bump, added Der8auer memory pot.

When using the newest bios, 0807(iirc), I run into shutdowns when benching on ambient.
been working on y-cruncher testing for ProOC and anytime I OC the chip(4GHz mild boot) it will shut the system off as soon as y-cruncher starts it’s bench run
Is cpu running > 100c? If not maybe vrm protection?
Maybe possible to try another psu.
